We are a fintech company developing and operating web-based services, and we are looking for an Accounting Staff to handle a wide range of accounting and finance responsibilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, while also being involved in monthly closing processes and overall cash management.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP Finance and Accounting Consultant with 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional background in Finance and Accounting, with proven experience in GL reconciliation and period-end closing processes. This is a critical role that bridges the gap between Finance stakeholders and SAP system capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Communicate with various levels of users from the Finance department to perform requirement analysis and resolve operational issues.

• Implement and support SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance modules across full project life cycles.

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor's degree from a recognized University, with more than 20 years of experience in tax and accounting area, and more than 5 years managerial experience.
• To facilitate the regional accounting and tax activities, good communication and leadership experience as a manager with more than 10 staffs over 5 years.
• Comprehensive and deep understanding of accounting standards (IFRS etc.), not only for basic knowledge and practical manner but also for comprehensive practice-based knowledge in specific area of accounting e.g. infrastructure (e.g. IFRIC12) , mining operation, leases, financial instruments, business combination and foreign currency exchange (including hedge accounting), etc.
• Comprehensive and deep understanding of the taxation in Japan, including the detailed knowledge and experience of CFC rule, corporate reorganization, group taxation, taxation relating to outbound investment, and the dealing with tax audit.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Real Asset Fund Administration team within the Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS) division in Singapore. This is an opportunity to join a global leader in financial services providing services to some of the world's most sophisticated institutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage deliverables from an offshore team by actively engaging and reviewing their bookkeeping work

• Manage internal workflow to ensure internal processing and client deadlines are met

• Prepare financial statements including financial work papers, portfolio schedules, accruals and partner capital allocations

• Coordination of annual audit and tax return preparation with external accounting firms

• Be a source of technical support and guidance to the offshore teams including becoming a mentor and conducting training to upskill the offshore teams

• Manage communication with the clients, fund investors and other investment professionals, delivering quality service by ensuring deliverables are met

• Ensure all corporate policies and procedures are followed

• During the course of normal day to day operation, responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures

• Support new business integration and ensure operating models are designed to deliver best of breed service to clients bringing to bear our global footprint

• Perform period bank and cash reconciliations

• Prepare quarterly management reports for clients

• Participate in special client or internal projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years relevant accounting experience including in Real Estate or Private Equity Fund Accounting

• Fluency in English required & Mandarin is a plus

• CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification

• College degree (business, mathematics, finance or economics, accounting concentration a plus)  

• Advanced knowledge in MS Excel

• Familiarity with Investran or Oracle is a plus

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance and Chartered Accountant (Singapore) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of audit experience, including listed company audits.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Singapore FRS, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
