Overview

• Be the single POC for all requests to rent or use the school facilities, both internally and externally.
• Verify the Who, Want, Where, When, Why of all requests to rent or use the school's facilities, beyond those that are part of the schools' curriculum. 
• Perform an initial check to ensure that the requested use of the school's facilities does not clash with any internal bookings, which should be accorded with higher priority. 
• Make a recommendation and check with the COO whether the request could be supported.  COO to confirm with ELT if need be.
• Upon confirmation of supportability and rental rates, draft the rental contract and Terms and Conditions document for approval by COO.
• Send approved rental contract and Terms and Conditions to requester for confirmation and acceptance. 
• Upon acceptance by the requester, do a tentative reservation of the requested facilities and liaise with the Finance Office to send invoice to the requester for payment, and ensure that full payment is made before the deadline.
• Upon full payment, confirm the booking of facilities and coordinate with the requester for ground recce of the facilities and support requirements.
• Ensure that the requester submit the detailed list of personnel and vehicle accessing the school and forward this to the Admin Manager and Security Supervisors, at least 3 days before the date of usage.
• Send a weekly reminder to the security office prior to the weekend on all approved usage of facilities.
• Follow up with the requester should there be issues with regard to the rental or usage of facilities, such as damages or cancellation due to inclement weather.
• For repeated bookings, ensure that this is done on a monthly basis upon confirmation of the school's own requirements, and liaise with the Finance Office to ensure timely billing. For example, to monitor the usage of the football fields by SMSA and advise the Finance Office on the amount of overtime security staff support to bill.
• Compile a bi-annual report of the facilities rental income. 
• Regularly review the system of facilities bookings and rental with aim to improve the efficiency of the process.  

5. Any other duty as assigned by the COO/Facilities Manager.

The primary focus is to identify and address additional learning needs for students in both languages—ensuring a strong foundation in language screening and targeted support to empower all learners to thrive holistically and achieve their full potential within the supportive ethos of SJI International, while upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and student well-being.

Specific Responsibilities:

Teaching and Learning:

• Deliver targeted individual and small-group learning interventions in both English and Chinese to support diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with homeroom and specialist teachers to design, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide expert guidance to classroom teachers on effective differentiation, scaffolding, and bilingual support strategies
• Create a stimulating, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment that features bilingual resources.

Assessment, Recording and Reporting:

• Lead the early identification and screening of learning needs, specifically utilising Chinese diagnostic tools and assessments alongside English standardised frameworks.
• Collect, analyse, and maintain accurate assessment data to monitor student progress and evaluate intervention metrics.
• Keep comprehensive, confidential student records in alignment with school data protection policies.
• Communicate transparently and regularly with parents regarding screening outcomes, IEP targets, and overall progress.

Standards and Quality Assurance:

• Support the strategic goals of the Student Success team and align bilingual support initiatives with the school improvement plan.
• Actively engage in the school's Professional Reflection and Development (PRD) cycle promote continuous personal and professional growth.
• Participate in standardisation and moderation processes to ensure consistency of support across all year groups.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Contribute significantly to the service, sport, and activity programmes, demonstrating a commitment to students' holistic growth and building positive relationships beyond the classroom.
• Be an advocate of the school and its decisions during interactions with students, staff, and the community.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, DipEd).
• Complete fluency in spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Practical experience screening learning needs specifically using Chinese screening tools.

Job Title: BCP / DR Coordinator
Monthly Salary: $7,500 – $10,000 SGD

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery runbooks
• Coordinate DR testing activities including scheduling, resources, and vendors
• Validate RTO/RPO achievements during DR tests
• Document test results, gaps, and remediation actions
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams to ensure recovery procedures are current
• Manage DR infrastructure inventory (backup systems, replication, failover capabilities)
• Support business impact analysis (BIA) activities
• Assist in crisis management and emergency response coordination
• Maintain BCP/DR documentation in central repository
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (MAS guidelines)
• Track and report on remediation of DR test failures
• Conduct awareness sessions on BCP/DR for IT teams

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BCP/DR coordination
• CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) certification preferred
• Experience with backup and replication technologies (NetApp, VMware SRM, Veeam)
• Understanding of RTO, RPO, and recovery strategies
• ITIL awareness for service continuity management
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Experience with DR orchestration platforms a plus
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and vendors
