Job Description

• Prepare and review Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA) Works specifications.
• Assist the ICA Lead and manage the engineering design works for the Control System Architecture, Data Communication Networks, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Programmable Logic Controller / Distributed Control System (PLC/DCS), DDC (Direct Digital Control) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and any other ICA Works as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in engineering, installation, testing and commissioning of ICA Works. Candidate with more than 5 years experiences can be considered as senior level.
• Experience in Selection, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of the Instrumentation.

Job Description

• Process development and optimization for silk screen printing, die cutting, lamination, assembly and converting processes
• Support new product introduction (NPI), process parameters, validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and capability studies
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Drive Kaizen initiatives for productivity, yield, cycle time, scrap reduction and cost improvement
• Evaluate and qualify new materials, equipment, tooling, and manufacturing methods
• Coordinate tooling fabrication, ECN implementation, and ERP system setup
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, safety, environmental, and customer requirements
• Support equipment setup, maintenance coordination, and process capability studies
• Participate in customer audits, supplier audits, and technical discussions when required
• Prepare SOPs, work instructions and engineering documents
• Any other task assigned by the Superior

Requirements

• • Minimum Degree with at least 5 year(s) experience in a Manufacturing environment with mechanical and electronics assembly
  • Independent, self-motivated, team player and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCad, GD&T, PFMEA, QCP and process validation per ISO 13485 is preferred
  • Experience in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Yield Improvement, Productivity Improvement, Cost Reduction preferably
  • Mechanical system understanding with electrical / electronic knowledge

Job Summary

Supervise and manage Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) operations to ensure technical compliance, safety, and quality in tunnelling projects, while coordinating with contractors to resolve technical challenges and achieve project milestones.

Responsibilities

• Supervise TBM operations including excavation, ring building, backfill grouting, and alignment control to meet project technical specifications and milestones
• Monitor TBM parameters such as torque, advance rate, and face pressure alongside geotechnical instruments to control settlement risks and protect structural and ground integrity
• Enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations for tunnelling and compressed air works to maintain underground safety standards
• Inspect precast concrete tunnel segments, key joints, and waterproofing systems during installation to ensure quality compliance
• Report and coordinate daily and weekly progress updates, collaborating with the Main Contractor to resolve on-site technical issues promptly

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in TBM tunnelling operations
• Ability to work 6 days per week and perform shift work during critical project phases
• Capability to work in compressed air environments
• Willingness to be stationed at the project site office

• Familiarity with Land Transport Authority (LTA) specifications, procedures, and submission processes
