Business Policy Executive (3-Month Contract, Renewable)
Location: Suntec
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:30pm
Salary: $3,200 – $3,800 per month (commensurate with experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and intellectually driven individual to support policy development and commercial documentation. This role focuses on drafting internal policies and external B2B documents, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Policy Development
- Draft, review, and maintain internal policies, SOPs, governance documents, and compliance frameworks
- Ensure documentation is clear, structured, and aligned with operational and strategic objectives
- Develop templates and style guidelines to maintain consistency across departments
External B2B Policy & Commercial Documentation
- Prepare external-facing documents such as terms and conditions, service agreements, onboarding materials, and commercial guidelines
- Ensure documents accurately reflect service levels, operational commitments, and risk considerations
- Review and refine contractual language to balance customer experience with business protection
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather inputs and refine documentation
- Facilitate discussions to ensure alignment on commercial terms, responsibilities, and expectations
Compliance, Audit & Governance
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory, audit, and industry requirements
- Maintain proper version control, documentation standards, and approval processes
- Support audits, RFP submissions, and compliance reviews involving policy and contractual materials
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Policy, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in policy writing, contract drafting, commercial documentation, or governance roles will be an advantage
- Strong written communication skills with excellent structure, clarity, and attention to detail
- Good commercial awareness with the ability to balance business needs and customer considerations
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear and practical documentation
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple timelines and document versions effectively
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Note: Extensive prior experience in policy development is not essential. Training and development opportunities will be provided to support capability building in this area.
