ROLE:

The Accounts and People and Culture Admin Assistant is responsible to support both the people and culture and finance teams in Singapore.
Their role will be to work alongside the operations team in Singapore and the larger team in Hong Kong to streamline basic accounting and people and culture functions, in turn enabling Operations to focus on what they do best – taking care of guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

●       Support finance functions including but not exclusive to payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

●       Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promotion, attendance, and termination.

●       Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed

●       Advising job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.

●       Overseeing hiring process, including but not exclusive to coordinating job posts, writing job descriptions, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks.

●       Work with teammates closely together with different divisions and stakeholders, to facilitate accurate and on-time payments of invoices.

●       Handle ad-hoc projects and support continuous improvement for the group.

●       Responsible for month-end closing processes and providing timely and accurate figures when requested.

●       Support annual statutory audit.

●       Manage Medical Insurance monthly enrolment and termination

●       Manage work injury reporting, and subsequent insurance claims

EXPERIENCE:

●       Degree holder/ professional qualification in a related field is preferred.

●       Excellent communication skills, orally and written.

●       High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, able to work to tight deadlines.

●       Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

●       Experience in the hospitality industry and knowledge of restaurant operations is preferred but not required.

●       Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

●       Experience in using Xero Accounting System is a plus.

The position is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef / Head Chef with operation of the kitchen; ensuring that food standards, preparation, ordering, presentation and cooking techniques are carried out according to established recipes and standards.

Key responsibilities & duties will include (but not limited to): 

• Supervision of kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef. Delegate duties and responsibilities to kitchen employees to ensure service demands are met. 
• Lead team members by setting a positive example. 
• Assist Executive Chef with menu preparation and ensuring adequate supplies are available for expected service.
• Liaise with Restaurant team members regarding the availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changes.
• Maintain excellent presentation standards and cost control for all food and beverage outlets.
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage.  Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.
• Works with and co-ordinates the work of apprentices, cooks and stewarding team in the preparation and production of food as required.
• Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. 
• Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire F&B Service team to meet Health & Safety regulations and food preparation guidelines.
• Cultivate a positive work environment and identify existing skills and potential, ensuring development of kitchen team members.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, commenting on key performance indicators and actions taken to keep on target.
• Ensure regular and effective communication with the Conference Sales Manager and Conference Coordinator, to meet the expectations of conference and events organisers.
• Carry out annual and mid-year appraisals with team members under your responsibility.
• Accountable for stock ordering and inventory management, plus monthly stock takes.
• Contribute to cost control through energy conservation, correct storage of all materials and use of equipment per operating standards and manufacturers’ specifications.

We are looking for highly motivated Assistant Financial Controller who will assist Financial Controller for the efficient running of the Finance Department through planning, organizing, directing and controlling in line with Hotel’s policies and standards whilst meeting employee, guests and owners expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operation of the Accounting Office.
• Primary responsibilities include financial analysis and financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• This position is direct report to Financial Controller.

• Bachelor degree in accounting from a reputable university (Min. GPA 3.0)
• Minimum 3 years working experience in managerial position. Hotel background is preferable.
• Have experience working with reputable public accounting firm.
• Hands-on knowledge of hotel accounting system (Sun System, Material control). Knowledge in SAP is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Indonesian tax regulation and must have experience handling tax reporting and tax audit
• Strong leadership, good communication skill, and result-oriented
• Good command of English in both verbal and written
• Proficient in excel is a must

We are hiring a Part-time Kitchen Assistant.

Working Hours : Mon-Thur 8.30am-2.30pm
Roles & Responsibilities :

- Prepare and cut vegetables for Mains
- Cook two types of rice (coconut rice for Nasi Lemak and mixed brown rice for others)
- Cook Laksa
- Prepare sauces
- Prepare orders from customers during Lunch Service
- Wash and maintain cleanliness of kitchen

Title: Part Time Kitchen Assistant

Working days: 3 days a week

Working hours: 10am to 2pm

Location: Food Fab @Mandai, 7 Mandai Estate

Salary: $15/hr

Job scope:

• Assist in food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning and cooking of ingredients.

• Support cooking using the oven & pot according to recipes and SOP standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.

• Assemble salad bowls during serving hours.

• Serve customers efficiently and politely over the counter in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:

• Prior kitchen experience is an advantage

• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable with an active, hands-on role that involves standing and moving around during shifts

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
