Senior Engineer, Cyber – Product Security

NielsenIQ is maturing its Application Security programs and is recruiting an Application Security Engineer who will be responsible for supporting the rollout of DevSecOps capabilities and practises across all geographies and business units.  

As the Application Security Engineer, you will be responsible for integration, maintenance and analyses of the tools and technologies used in securing NIQ products/application throughout their development. You will oversee application security capabilities within a multi-national matrixed environment. The application security engineer will have the opportunity to replace the current Static and Dynamic Application Security Tool and advocate for the tech stack used for monitoring. 

This position will involve working closely with development/engineering teams, business units, technical and non-technical stakeholders, educating them and driving the adoption and maturity of the NIQ’s Product & Application Security programs. 

Responsibilities  

• Collaborate within Product Security Engineering and Cybersecurity teams to support delivery of its strategic initiatives. 
• Work with engineering teams (Developers, SREs & QAs) to ensure that products are secure on delivery and implement provided security capabilities. 
• Actively contribute to building and maintaining Product Security team security tools and services, including integrations security tools in the CI/CD process 
• Report on security key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements across engineering teams’ security posture. 
• Contribute to Product Security Engineering team security education program and become an advocate within the organization’s DevSecOps and application security community of practice. 
• Review IaaS / PaaS architecture roadmaps for the cloud to and recommend baseline security controls and hardening requirements, supporting threat modelling of NIQ’s products. 

• Security Test Engineer with good knowledge of ISO 21434 (Automotive Cybersecurity) and Autosar Security Concept.
• Responsible to validate and ensure the robustness of security mechanisms in Gateway (GW) automotive products to protect it against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• The Role focuses on secure diagnostics and secure flashing ensuring Flash Data Security, Secure Boot validation, HSM, VKMS functionality, and cryptographic key management & encryption basics while verifying secure communication protocols.
• Must have Hands-on expertise in Vector CANoe, VTstudio, Vector HIL, CAPL Programming
• Knowledge of debugging and log analysis tools  

Responsibilities (how we will measure success)

• This is a part-time role (three (3) days/week).
• Apply legal skills to take responsibility for managing the legal work and legal risks across the business.
• Work closely with senior management and business teams and support them by providing timely, sound and practical legal advice.  
• Work as a key member of the AMAL business in Australia and New Zealand while collaborating with members of the global legal team at group level and in other business regions (US; UK, Ireland & Crown Dependencies; Continental Europe).

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

• Review, negotiate and draft commercial contracts, including fund or loan administration agreement, trust services agreement, employment agreement.
• Identify, monitor, research and resolve issues relating to commercial contracts and liaising with internal stakeholders, clients and law firms.

• Handle corporate secretarial and governance matters, including preparing Board papers and coordinating Board meetings.

a) Ensure the day-to-day needs of the residents and operational requirements of the halfway house are being met.

- Actively seek out B2B partnerships and build strategic relationships with technology platforms, ecosystem players, and commercial partners to support long‑term growth. Manage the full partnership lifecycle, including evaluation, negotiation, procurement coordination, and ongoing support – ensuring strategic alignment, commercial viability, and compliance with internal policies.

- Support cross‑regional and cross‑functional collaboration initiatives. Partner closely with product, growth, legal, and regional teams to align goals, improve execution efficiency, and integrate resources effectively.

- Keep a close eye on industry trends, media landscape shifts, and competitor activities. Translate insights into actionable recommendations that inform PR strategy, social media content, and external positioning.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or higher – preferably in PR, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field. Overseas education or work experience is a plus.

- 5 - 8yrs+ of experience wanted and at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Regional or global PR, external partnerships, business development, strategic procurement, or similar areas. Experience in tech or B2B environments is preferred.

- Bilingual in English and Chinese are wanted to liaise with global stakeholders. And comfortable independently handling business negotiations, document drafting, public speaking, and other professional tasks.

- Strong communicator and collaborator – able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

- Solid project management and multitasking skills – capable of juggling multiple complex projects in a fast‑paced environment.

- Strategic thinker with business acumen – able to turn partnerships into tangible business outcomes.

- Deep understanding of cross‑cultural work environments and the ability to adapt to them.
