Position Summary :

This position is responsible for leading data-driven projects aimed at optimizing industrial processes, improving efficiency, and driving innovation. They oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and data analysis to model development, deployment, and performance monitoring. Main Tasks  & Responsibilities:

• Team and data science portfolio management: Responsible for the Roadmap of the data science and manage data science ROI and Portfolio, develop requirements and ensure value and benefit the shopfloor operation, guide data science engineers to develop and review their work as well to grow their skills and experience.

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates for industrial data science projects.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, industrial engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

• At least 8 years proven experience in project management, specifically in leading data science or analytics projects in industrial settings.

• Experience managing small team and data science portfolio

• Experiences on requirement gathering, scoping, data mapping and data driven improvement, digital transformation projects to deliver business objectives are plus

• Strong technical proficiency in data science tools and techniques, including architecting, statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and data visualization.

Standards, governance, and context

• Establish and drive adoption of standards for telemetry, schema, metadata, and annotation across fragmented upstream systems

People & org leadership

• Build, lead, and develop a high‑impact team of data and platform engineers

• Set a strong technical and cultural bar through architecture reviews, design rigor, and mentorship.

• Help grow senior ICs and future leaders within the Trust Data Engineering Solutions org

Key challenges your will help tackle:

• Fragmented and inconsistent Trust telemetry across multiple upstream systems

• Complex DAG orchestration with heterogeneous SLAs and dependencies

• Measurement pipelines that combine data engineering with ML models

• Making Trust data discoverable, explainable, and safe for both humans and AI agents

• Scaling platforms without sacrificing metric integrity

The incumbent will primarily support on the drafting and review of industry partnership agreements and will work closely different dept within the cluster. 

Responsibilities

• Draft and review industry partnership and other research- or innovation-related agreements for its institutions

• Coordinate and facilitate the review and negotiation of agreements involving multiple institutions

• Track review timelines, follow up on pending matters, and ensure continuity of in progress agreements

• Assist in maintaining and updating SOPs, templates and relevant policy documents

• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Translational Research Office during the cover period

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or related disciplines

• Prior experience in research contracts management or related administrative work is preferred

• Familiarity with the national research funding landscape and grant schemes will be an advantage

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with stakeholders at all levels

• Able to work independently, manage timelines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead and manage large‑scale programmes under the PMO Project Lifecycle Management (PLCM) framework, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, cost, quality and deployment readiness.
• Deep‑dive with technical/research teams to refine industry needs and translate them into clear requirements, milestones, acceptance criteria and delivery plans.
• Drive end‑to‑end delivery governance: establish delivery cadence, manage change interventions, and ensure timely escalation.
• Manage critical vendors/system integrators (where relevant) and ensure delivery meets project requirements and compliance expectations.
• Own programme governance and risk management: monitor, mitigate, and resolve delivery risks; implement risk and issue management practices to maintain delivery health.
• Support steering / leadership forums with clear, evidence‑based recommendations on priorities, trade‑offs, intervention needs and decision options.
• Set and enforce delivery standards (templates, checklists, quality gates) to reduce delivery variability and improve repeatability across the programme.
• Serve as the primary interface for stakeholder environments (industry partners, internal functions, and—where applicable—public agencies), ensuring effective communications across the programme lifecycle.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and alignment toward a common goal; anticipate misalignments and drive closure through structured decision‑making.
• Mentor and coach junior project managers/project engineers; uplift PM discipline and delivery practice across the team through structured reviews and best‑practice sharing.
• To operate as a programme leader to foster teamwork, motivate personnel, and drive continuous improvement in delivery methods and governance.
• Ensure project documentation and reporting are relevant, accurate, complete, and compliant with PLCM and grant management expectations; maintain audit‑ready records.
• Contribute to PLCM process improvements and guide teams in using project/programme tools and governance processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / science / industrial & systems / manufacturing‑related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of technical/project/programme management experience in Semiconductor equipment-related industries, including delivery of advanced technology / product / manufacturing deployment projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing large‑scale projects or multi‑project programmes, from initiation to execution, and meeting programme KPI requirements.
• Proven track record in manufacturing and production technology environments (e.g., manufacturing processes, automation, industry 4.0).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication across seniority levels; able to translate delivery progress into outcomes, risks, and mitigation options for leadership decision‑making.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, mentor junior PMs, and drive delivery improvements through standards and governance.
• PMP and Agile certifications; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is advantageous.

Financial Strategic Oversight for Research and Innovation Funds and Grants:

· Assist the Research and Innovation Director and Deputy Director to oversee and manage RIO's finances and funds/ grants

· Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support senior management decision-making

· Monitor utilization and project cashflow to optimize resource management for various research and innovation initiatives

· Develop funding proposals for strategic grants and/or initiatives

Fund Management for Grants:

· Manage the NMRC Centre Grant (CG) funds, including coordinating with Research and Innovation Programmes, Peaks and Enablers

· Work with investigators to prepare project costings and budgets

· Track hiring requisitions for research/innovation-funded positions

· Monitor and ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions

Stakeholder Management and Leadership:

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Investigators, innovators, Programmes/Peaks/Enablers, HR and Finance)

· Manage relationships and liaise with Organisations's Office of Research and external funding agencies

· Supervise and mentor a team of executives in fund management

Administrative Oversight:

· Review purchase requisitions and claims

· Ensure compliance with institutional guidelines and funding regulations

· Coordinate implementation of systems and policies
