Overview
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Corporate Secretarial Manager to join our Corporate Secretarial team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage a portfolio of clients, provide expert compliance advice, and support the development of junior team members. You will play an integral part in delivering high-quality corporate governance and statutory compliance services while contributing to operational improvements within the department.
Responsibilities
· Manage and oversee a portfolio of clients from various industries, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and provide advisory services on corporate secretarial related matters and enquiries.
· Draft and review board/shareholder resolutions, minutes, and statutory filings in accordance with the Singapore Companies Act and ACRA regulations.
· Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to junior corporate secretarial staff to ensure quality and consistency of work.
· Ensure all corporate actions and documentation are compliant with the Singapore Companies Act and applicable regulatory frameworks.
· Act as a key contact for clients, providing practical advice on corporate governance and compliance matters.
· Assist the Head of Department in improving internal processes, SOPs, and departmental workflows to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
· Support team development through training, mentoring, and performance oversight of junior staff.
Requirements
· Degree in Business Administration, Law, Accountancy, or a related field.
· ICSA/SAICSA qualification (or working towards one) is preferred.
· At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in corporate secretarial work, ideally within a corporate service provider or professional services firm.
· Strong knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act and corporate governance best practices
· Comfortable working independently and managing multiple deadlines in a client-facing environment.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric mindset.
· Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a proactive approach to governance.
