Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of treatments (facials, slimming, and hair removal) to professional standards.
• Recommend and introduce suitable treatment packages and products to support clients’ results.
• Provide treatment services at different outlets when additional staffing support is needed.
• Build long-term client relationships by delivering consistently high service standards.
• Train beauticians on treatment procedures, equipment use, and consultation skills. Mentor beauticians to support skills development and assessments, and provide coaching and feedback.
• Create and update SOPs, training manuals, and evaluation checklists to ensure consistent standards.
• Review new beauty technologies, products, and treatment methods for possible use in the business.
• Test and improve treatment techniques to help clients achieve good and consistent results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stakeholder Management:
• Develop and manage relations with partner universities through regular communications.
• Facilitate annual placement projection and negotiation exercise with partner universities.
• Willing to travel when required to maintain and build relationships with partner universities.
• Programmes and Events Management:
• Plan, promote and execute events such as SMU's Global Education Fair, Orientation, Farewell, dialogue sessions and other student outreach and programme publicity initiatives for inbound/outbound students.
• Provide necessary support and guidance to the students (outbound SMU students and inbound international students) throughout the programme which includes managing the team's role-based mailbox, answering programme-related enquiries as well as engaging students via social media.
• Conduct surveys, analyse findings and prepare reports on students' study abroad or study at SMU experiences, and learning outcomes.
• Be part of the team who facilitate daily operations of the exchange programmes such as onboarding processes, outreach activities, promotion collaterals, credit transfers, billings & logistics.
• Work closely with SMU schools and offices to ensure full compliance with study abroad safety protocols.
• Special projects:
• Work together with the team to improve and enhance effectiveness and efficiency of operational/work processes.
• Lead and manage various programme related projects, to assemble teams to deliver on these projects.

• Postgraduate qualifications or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Strong understanding of operations within the global education sector.
• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in developing and managing global student programmes at the university level and/or organising cross-cultural student events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence and effectiveness in cross-cultural environments.
• Proactive self-starter with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Research Manager (Insights Strategy and Innovation) to join our team at the intersection of human insights and technological evolution.

While you will be grounded in the fundamentals of high-quality research, this role is designed for a versatile professional who is energized by platform-based research models and the integration of AI and LLMs into the insights workflow. You will be responsible for ensuring the development of rigorous research, maintaining high-value client relationships, and driving quality delivery through both traditional and innovative execution.

A Week in the Life

This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you will span the entire research lifecycle. In any given week, you might find yourself:

• Co-designing complex discussion guides and questionnaires in a collaborative session with a client.
• Directly programming and testing interviews on our proprietary interactive platforms, such as Blackbox Dialogue.
• Analysing large datasets in Excel while utilising LLM tools to synthesize qualitative nuances at scale.
• Designing high-impact strategy decks in PowerPoint that translate data into clear business recommendations for your clients.
• Workshopping with our product developers to provide user feedback and optimise our next generation of research tools.
• Liaising with clients during kick-offs, reporting meetings, and in (many!) email exchanges.
• Contributing to sales and marketing efforts via proposal inputs, ideas for outbound outreach, and offering content for LinkedIn, Substack and our website.

Key Responsibilities

• Account & Project Management: Independently manage existing accounts, serving as a trusted point of contact to understand and deliver on client needs.
• Innovation & AI Integration: Actively use and advocate for AI/LLM tools to enhance personal productivity and contribute to the development of Blackbox’s proprietary solutions.
• Technical Rigor: Act as the bridge between strategy and operations. You will work closely with scripting teams (understanding logic in platforms like Forsta or Qualtrics), manage fieldwork vendors, and oversee the data processing phase (edit specs, table specs, and code frames).
• Analysis & Charting: Move beyond data entry to data storytelling. You will be responsible for charting, data visualization, and synthesizing information into reports that provide actionable value to clients.
• Strategic Reporting: Produce high-quality reports with actionable recommendations. You don't just report "what" happened; you explain "why" and "what’s next."
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and quality control for junior team members and interns, fostering a culture of precision and creativity.

Who You Are

We are looking for a candidate who is data-literate, tech-curious, and highly capable of multi-tasking across different workstreams.

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in market research, strategy consulting, policy analysis, or a related data-driven field.

• AI Proficiency: You are an "AI-native" professional, experienced in using LLMs and AI tools to streamline workflows and solve complex problems.

This employee is responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of tenant management across the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) campus. This includes overseeing new leases, lease renewals, day-to-day enquiries, service bundling, and relationship-building to support tenant satisfaction and long-term retention.

As part of the wider company vision, the employee will also help explore new revenue channels, support data-driven performance reporting, and provide key operational support to ensure smooth execution.

Additionally, he/she will contribute to broader BD initiatives that intersect with tenant engagement and programming collaboration.

1. Tenancy Management & Reporting

• Manage the end-to-end tenancy lifecycle: sourcing, onboarding, renewals, reinstatements, and handovers.
• Serve as the first point of contact for tenant enquiries and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate tenancy records, agreements, and compliance documents.
• Ensure lease terms and regulatory requirements are met.
• Build strong tenant relationships to support retention and satisfaction.
• Prepare tenancy reports on occupancy, revenue forecasting, pipeline and renewals.

2. Operations & Campus Support

• Coordinate closely with Campus Operations on fit-outs, reinstatements, and move-in/move-out activities.
• Work with Facilities, Security, and vendors to address tenant needs.
• Support implementation of campus protocols on space usage, visitor access, and emergency arrangements.
• Support Campus Operations to brief tenants on facilities, amenities, and regulations to ensure smooth integration.

3. Tenant & Enterprise Engagement

• Partner with tenants to co-create events and activities aligned with SkillsFuture themes.
• Integrate tenant-led showcases into broader campus programming.
• Support collaborations with government agencies, TACs, industry stakeholders and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Support enterprise events that support SSG KPIs, managing logistics, partner coordination, and post-event evaluation.

4. Business Development & Revenue Innovation

• Identify and pursue opportunities to grow Pay-Per-Used Facilities (PPUF) usage and campus monetization.
• Explore new offerings such as lifestyle services, off-peak promotions, and flexible space models.
• Build a pipeline of potential clients and partners for PPUF spaces.
• Support marketing campaigns, engagement events, and outreach to increase awareness.
• Gather and act on customer and tenant feedback to improve services.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or related fields.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in tenancy management, client servicing, or business development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centric mindset.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
• Familiarity with government procurement processes and building regulations is an advantage.
• Analytical skills with proficiency in reporting.
