Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute strategic plans that align with Ministry of Health (MOH).
Programme Development, Implementation and Centre Operation
Lead the implementation of programs with an emphasis on senior volunteerism and intergenerational engagement.
Review Individual Care Plans (ICP) to ensure high standards of care.
Manage finances, facilities, equipment and maintaining operational performance
Conduct fire evacuation exercises.
Handle public inquiries and driving publicity for the centre.
Statutory Submissions / Reporting
Ensure all required reports and data are submitted to the MOH accurately and on time including quarterly subventions.
Provide monthly centre reports to the organisation’s President.
Staff Development
Manage client-staff ratios for the day care and community rehab services.
Implement staff coaching and mentoring programs and conducting yearly staff appraisal.
Community Collaboration
Build partnership with community and public agencies.
Engage in key issues such as active aging, dementia care, caregiving support and family counselling etc.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Diploma/degree in Business Management, Gerontology or other relevant fields
· Good written and spoken English
· Ability to converse in Mandarin and major dialects is an advantage
· A mature individual and a team player with good interpersonal and communication skill
· Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
· Possess a passionate and sincere disposition to care for frail seniors in the Centre
· Proficient in Microsoft Office – MSWord and Excel
