Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing to lead and drive 360° brand and campaign initiatives across digital, on-ground, and retail platforms. This role will work closely with the Chief Brand Officer, Events, Marketing & Creative teams to drive integrated marketing strategies, amplify brand visibility, and strengthen customer engagement across our touchpoints.
You’ll be expected to wear many hats—developing campaign plans, coordinating timelines, liaising with partners and internal teams, managing content calendars, and supporting the execution of automotive-lifestyle experiences that define BYD by 1826.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across digital, social, on-ground activations, and in-outlet branding.
• Drive alignment across internal teams — Creative, Events, Sales, and F&B — to ensure consistent messaging and campaign cohesion across all platforms.
• Own and oversee campaign timelines, content calendars, and milestone tracking to ensure strategic and timely rollouts.
• Direct social media strategy, content planning, and publishing in collaboration with content creators and designers.
• Build and manage relationships with external partners, agencies, vendors, and influencers to amplify brand reach and campaign impact.
• Review and approve marketing copy and collaterals across digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring alignment with brand tone and visual identity.
• Establish and oversee asset approval workflows, maintaining consistency in brand standards across all materials.
• Analyze and report on campaign performance, digital engagement, and event outcomes to inform strategy and optimize future initiatives.
• Stay ahead of trends in EV, lifestyle, F&B, and digital marketing to ensure campaigns remain relevant, innovative, and competitive.
• Lead the planning, publicity, and execution of roadshows, outlet launches, and automotive showcases across Singapore.
• Represent the marketing function in senior stakeholder presentations, preparing and delivering decks, reports, and strategic proposals.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, branding, or communications—preferably in a hybrid lifestyle, automotive, F&B, or retail environment.
• Experience with campaign planning, social media management, and cross-functional marketing coordination.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and brand tone.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms preferred (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Canva, etc.).
• Basic photo and video editing skills using tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.).
• Creative, collaborative, and solution-oriented with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Experience working on roadshows, product launches, or integrated marketing campaigns across physical and digital spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Sourcing & Purchasing

• Source used vehicles through auctions, trade-ins, direct purchases, dealers, and other channels.
• Evaluate vehicle condition, history, market demand, and resale value before purchase.
• Negotiate purchase prices to achieve optimal margins and meet budget targets.

Market & Pricing Analysis

• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Determine target buy prices based on current market conditions, reconditioning costs, and sales potential.

Inventory Management

• Maintain healthy inventory levels aligned with sales forecasts and customer demand.
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to ensure the right mix of vehicles is available.
• Monitor stock aging and recommend actions to minimize slow-moving inventory.

Vehicle Inspection & Compliance

• Conduct or oversee detailed vehicle inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Review vehicle documentation for accuracy, compliance, and legal requirements.
• Coordinate reconditioning and refurbishment requirements prior to resale.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, auction houses, fleet owners, and other suppliers.
• Work closely with internal teams such as sales, finance, and operations to ensure smooth handovers.

Reporting & Administration

• Maintain accurate purchase records, pricing data, and inventory documentation.
• Prepare reports on purchasing performance, costs, and margins.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, with strong exposure to used car purchasing or inventory management.
• Solid knowledge of used vehicle valuation, market pricing, and sourcing channels.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.

The Used Car Manager oversees the entire used vehicle process, from inventory management to team leadership and customer satisfaction. You are responsible for achieving sales targets, managing inventory, motivating and training the team, and ensuring smooth daily operations. They also analyze sales data, develop strategies to increase sales, and handle customer issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Leading and motivating the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives; setting and monitoring the sales and performance targets.

Sales Strategy Development: Creating and implementing strategies to drive used vehicle sales growth.

Customer Relationship Management: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and building a strong customer base. Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process, handling customer feedback, and resolving issues.

Sales Management & Marketing: Working with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns. Managing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.

Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock to meet customer demand. Determining pricing strategies for used vehicles, overseeing vehicle reconditioning, and merchandising.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in automotive sales or used car industry.

Reporting Line

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Brewer in the day-to-day brewing operations, including mashing, lautering, boiling, fermentation, and packaging.

• Monitor and record fermentation progress, gravity readings, and other quality control data.

• Clean and sanitise brewing equipment, tanks, kegs, and the brewery environment in accordance with hygiene standards.

• Assist in recipe development, ingredient preparation, and batch documentation.

• Support the management of raw material inventory including malt, hops, yeast, and adjuncts.

• Operate and maintain brewery equipment safely and report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.

• Assist in quality checks and sensory evaluations of finished products.

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), food safety, and workplace safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Prior brewing experience is an advantage but not required.

• Genuine passion for craft beer and the brewing industry.

• Comfortable with manual labour, lifting, and operating in a brewery environment.

• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and record-keeping habits.

• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
