Oversee the finance function for a property management company responsible for the commercial office building in Singapore. You will provide financial support across reporting, compliance, operational finance, controls and team lead to safeguard the company’s financial health and integrity. You will manage a team of five and serve as a key business partner to senior management, providing insights to support decision-making and long-term planning.
1.        Financial leadership
•          Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
•          Deliver timely insights on asset performance to support operational and strategic decisions.
•          Strengthen financial policies, processes, systems, and internal controls to improve efficiency, governance and risk management.
2.        Financial reporting & compliance
•          Oversee timely and accurate month-end closing and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
•          Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and Singapore statutory, regulatory and tax requirements.
•          Lead statutory audits and act as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax agents, banks and regulatory bodies.
3.        Property finance & operations
•          Monitorand explain asset-level performance, including revenue, operating expenses, capital expenditures and key operating metrics.
•          Oversee cash flow management and treasury activities, including rent collection, vendor payments, and liquidity planning.
•          Support lease administration from a financial perspective, including tenant billing, receipts and reconciliations.
•          Oversee tax matters including corporate income tax, GST and property tax.
4.        M&A and post-deal integration
•          Support the investment team with due diligence and transaction-related financial analysis.
•          Lead finance integration for newly acquired assets, including entity setup, chart of accounts, reporting timelines.
5.        Team management & development
•          Promote a collaborative, disciplined control environment and continuous improvement mindset.
6.        Stakeholder management
•          Partner with Asset Management, Property Management, and senior leadership to translate financial results into actions.
•          Prepare and present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to management and key stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
•          Bachelor in Finance, Accounting; professional qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA) preferred.
•          15+years of relevant experience, ideally in real estate.
•          Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
•          Solid understanding of Singapore financial regulations and tax requirements.
•          Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
•          Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•          High level of integrity, meticulous, and good problem-solving skills.
