The Senior Service Management Consultant is responsible for delivering high value-added consulting services to enterprise customers by designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow and Enterprise Service Management (ESM) solutions. 
The role combines strong technical expertise, project leadership, and customer-facing consulting skills to ensure service excellence, business value realization, and long-term customer satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities:  

Consulting & Service Delivery 

• Deliver high added-value consulting services to customers by translating business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient ServiceNow solutions. 

• Lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementations across ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, and related domains. 

• Ensure solutions align with industry best practices (ITIL, Agile/Scrum) and customer business objectives. 

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, testers, and client representatives. 

• Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. 

Customer Satisfaction & Quality Excellence 

• Exceed customer service quality expectations through proactive communication, strong delivery governance, and high technical standards. 

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them on platform capabilities, roadmap decisions, and continuous improvement opportunities. 

Reporting & Documentation 

• Provide customers and/or supervisors with accurate, clear, and timely activity and project status reports, including risks, KPIs, and progress tracking. 

• Ensure thorough documentation of technical and functional assignments, including solution designs, configurations, workflows, and operating procedures. 

• Maintain high-quality documentation to support knowledge transfer, support teams, and long-term platform sustainability. 

Technical Expertise & Continuous Improvement 

• Configure, customize, and optimize ServiceNow solutions using scripting, workflows, integrations, and platform features. 

• Ensure platform performance, security, and compliance through best-practice configuration and governance frameworks. 

• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and innovation to improve operational efficiency and user experience. 

Knowledge Sharing & Expertise Development 

• Participate actively in the development of the company’s expertise materials and internal knowledge base. 

• Contribute to methodology improvements, reusable assets, best practices, and training materials. 

• Support internal capability building through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. 

Required Skills & Experience 

Experience 

• 10+ years of experience in IT Service Management and enterprise transformation projects. 

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules  

• Proven background in consulting, customer-facing roles, and complex project delivery in enterprise environments. 

Technical and soft Skills 

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow configuration and development (ITSM, SecOps, ITOM, …) including proficiency in complex workflows, integrations, and ServiceNow Studio/App Engine. 

• Solid understanding of ITIL processes, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and service governance. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to align technical solutions with business value. 

• Ability to work in complex, international, and multi-stakeholder environments. 

Education & Certifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. 

• ITIL Foundation certification. 

• Several ServiceNow certifications (ITSM, SecOps, ITOM, or related modules).

Professional Experience 

• 12+ years of experience in ServiceNow consulting, architecture, and implementation. 

• Proven experience in international and complex environments. 

• Track record of leading large-scale programs and multi-disciplinary teams. 

Technical Skills 

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow architecture and development. 

• Advanced knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, HR, SecOps, GRC, CSM and other related modules 

Business & Consulting Skills 

• Business analysis and requirements management. 

• Project and program management. 

• Financial assessment, business case, and ROI analysis. 

• Presales and customer engagement experience is a plus. 

Soft Skills
