Job Brief:

The Bids and Proposals Specialist will generally support the Bid Manager and/or Associate Bid Director leading the bid, having read and understood the client requirements. They will devise draft bid programmes, coordinate inputs from Subject Matter Experts and track progress against tasks and individuals for reporting to the Bid Manager. The Bids and Proposals Specialist will work collaboratively with technical and operational colleagues, writers, graphic designers and the leadership team. The role covers the full procurement lifecycle and proposals.

Aside from supporting bids, the role requires proactive engagement in ad hoc tasks around general bidding best practice, including but not limited to: driving bid knowledge management through the breakdown of bids into a bid library; collaboration with the knowledge team to log model responses and useful information; collaboration with graphic designers to support on ad hoc, simple graphics requirements; and supporting the leadership team to develop processes, tools and guides around bidding.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead mid-size proposals and task orders
• Participate in Go /No Go and green light analysis / readiness to bid assessment in partnership with bid / capture managers. Update CRM data as needed to maintain accuracy
• Contribute to pre-RFP proposal planning, including Four Rules win strategy development, applying win plan, messaging, and discriminators in deliverables

The finance analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, recording, documentation and dissemination of complex data sets. The candidate will process and reconcile accounts receivable, payables and general ledger related transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, customer service and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The candidate will provide support and be part of the UK Finance team and will report to the Bank Reconciliation and Accounts Payable manager in London.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile weekly bank reconciliations for different currency bank accounts within Arch Insurance Europe including Arch Syndicate
• Input, record, process, balance and maintain receipts for Arch Insurance Europe companies
• Prepare reinsurance reconciliation

• Design simple visual templates for newsletters, team updates, or internal event banners. Coordinate messaging across platforms as required.
