This role is ideal for a professional with experience incorporate banking and a strong understanding of trade finance products. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales Managers to service a portfolio of commodity clients and contribute to the growth and efficiency of our trade business.

1. Responsibilities:

- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales Managers, Product Managers, Relationship Managers and Operations throughout the sales cycle for various trade products, including Documentary Trade, Commodity& Structured Trade, and Open Account Trade (Accounts Receivable Purchase and Supply Chain Finance).

- Support the management of a portfolio of commodity clients, ensuring effective trade utilization and working to deepen client relationships to drive asset and revenue growth.

- Proactively manage client expectations, gather feedback on service quality, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve the overall client experience.

- Perform daily, weekly, and/or monthly reporting tasks, and assist with business implementation and maintenance-related activities.

- Proactively manage risks and controls within the scope of responsibilities.

2. Requirements:

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate banking

- Experience in Documentary Trade, including Commodity and Structured Trade Finance is a plus

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

- The ideal candidate is a strong team player with good interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Licensing & Regulatory Engagement

• Lead and manage the application process for a payment services license (SPI/MPI) with the Monetary Authority of Singapore 
• Prepare and submit all required documentation, including business plans, compliance frameworks, and risk assessments 
• Act as the primary liaison with regulators, responding to queries and managing follow-ups 
• Ensure full compliance with the Payment Services Act and related MAS guidelines 

2. Bank Liaison & Account Management

• Serve as the primary compliance contact for banks and financial institutions 
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing due diligence for corporate and safeguarding accounts 
• Ensure alignment between bank requirements and regulatory obligations (e.g., AML/CFT, safeguarding of customer funds)
