Requirements

The Assistant Director / Deputy Director of Supporter Engagement leads the delivery of the Society’s strategies across volunteer engagement, donor engagement and partner engagement. Reporting directly to the Head of Community Engagement and Partnerships (CEP), the role provides leadership to ensure coherent, high-quality, and impactful long-term relationships that advance the well-being of children. The role works closely with internal stakeholders to translate strategy into execution, ensure effective governance and safeguards and build strong supporter pipelines that contribute to the Society’s mission, financial sustainability and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Implementation, Leadership and Governance

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of teams responsible for volunteer engagement, donor stewardship and partner management, ensuring alignment, accountability, and performance management.
• Support the Head of CEP in policy development, frameworks, SOPs and governance processes related to supporter engagement and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, safeguarding requirements, screening processes and risk management frameworks for volunteers, donors and partners.
• Monitor operational risks related to supporter engagement and escalate issues appropriately, ensuring timely mitigation and reporting.
  

2. Donor and Partner Engagement

• Oversee the management and stewardship of existing corporate donors and partners, ensuring strong relationships, fulfilment of commitments and high-quality engagement experiences.
• Support the cultivation and development of new partnerships in collaboration with the Head of CEP, including corporate partners, foundations and philanthropists.
• Work with Centre and Department Heads to identify partnership opportunities that support service delivery, innovation, and capability building.
• Represent the Society at engagement activities, partner meetings and external platforms as delegated.
  

3. Volunteer Engagement

• Lead the implementation of volunteer engagement strategies to attract, retain and deepen relationships across the different segments.
• Oversee volunteer engagement frameworks, including recruitment, recognition and impact tracking, ensuring alignment with programme and supporter needs.
  
  

4. Performance Management and Resource Sustainability

• Support fundraising and engagement initiatives that contribute to the Society’s financial sustainability, working closely with the Head on targets, forecasting and reporting.
• Track and analyse performance against engagement and fundraising KPIs across volunteer, donor and partner pillars.
• Prepare regular reports and insights for the Head of CEP, Management and relevant governance committees.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends, gaps and opportunities to strengthen supporter engagement and impact.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum degree holder
• At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in fundraising, volunteer management or stakeholder relations, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial position, preferably in the social service or non-profit sector.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams and translating strategy into effective operational delivery.
• Experience working with corporate partners, donors and volunteers across diverse engagement models.
• Sound understanding of governance, safeguarding, and risk management in external engagement.

Overall Goal:  To provide leadership in directing the programmes and services; and developing the people of the Service Group providing ‘Mental Health & Counselling Services’ (MHCS).

Job Description

As Director/ Dy Director, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of operational strategies to ensure efficient and effective delivery of programmes and services by MHCS.  

You will work closely with the CEO as part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) to translate Care Corner’s aspirations and goals into a set of strategic initiatives, and support the implementation of these initiatives within the Service Group.

You will manage the financial and manpower resources to ensure optimal usage, and help build the talent pipeline for the organization as a whole. You will work with your Service Group leaders to identify capability gaps and support professional development of staff. You will help build and leverage on community networks to encourage social service integration.

This is a senior-level position that reports to the Chief Executive Officer, and you will be overall responsible for the teams in MHCS.

Key Result Areas

Strategic Initiatives

• Lead the review and development of strategic priorities and plans for the Service Group, in consultation with CEO and fellow members of the Senior Management Team.

• Lead efforts to identify and assess issues that can impact the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the Service Group and thereafter put in place relevant measures.

• Provide guidance and support to the heads and teams of the Service Group, ensuring that they are able to do their best work in engaging with their assigned tasks and stakeholders.
• Oversee the assessment of developmental needs and expertise required of the Service Group and partner closely with relevant corporate functions (e.g. People & OD) to ensure relevant developmental initiatives for staff are in place.   

Collaboration

• Engage with relevant parties (eg. Government agencies and ministries) on matters relating to the provision of services and programmes offered by the Service Group.
• Partner with relevant social service agencies in the development and delivery of services and programmes, while taking into account the different agendas, directions and operating models.
• Facilitate collaboration across Service Group and/or with other agencies to the development and delivery of services and programmes that are integrated with the service-user experience in mind.

Serve as a Member of the Senior Management Team (SMT)

• Serve as an active member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) in vision casting, strategic planning and stewarding the health & effectiveness of the organisation. 
• Actively participate in and contribute to SMT meetings and other SMT activities.
• Provide Service Group reports on MHCS to the SMT, the Board, and other partners and stakeholders as required.
• Serve as a representative of Care Corner to our stakeholders and partners, and where appropriate, lead or participate in internal or external working groups, task forces, panels and/or committees.

Responsibilities would include:

• Lead corporate development transactions (including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and investments) across businesses and regions
• Develop a high performing deal team with advanced financial modeling and transaction execution knowledge
• Build and develop relationships with business intermediaries, investment banks and other external advisors
• Act as an advisor to platform and business unit leaders in the evaluation of merger and acquisition transactions and make recommendations on the impact of decision to the company's objectives and performance
• Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals

Profile of ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• 5-6 years of related work experience in investment banks, with 2 years acting as a team leader
• Strong experience with transaction execution that closed M&A credential is must
• Proven experience overseeing complex financial modelling, including providing guidance to junior team members and ensuring consistent quality and accuracy of analysis
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Proactive attitude, mature communicator that experienced to discuss and partner with executives

Job Description

• Assist the Project Director in overseeing the overall planning, coordination and execution of construction projects to ensure delivery in accordance with project schedule, budget and quality standards.

• Lead and manage project teams including project managers, engineers, coordinators and site personnel to ensure efficient project implementation and productivity.

• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities to resolve technical, operational and construction-related matters.

• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement mitigation measures to ensure project milestones are achieved.

• Oversee contract administration, including cost control, variation management, procurement coordination and compliance with contractual obligations.

• Ensure all construction activities comply with workplace safety regulations, quality standards and statutory requirements.

• Participate in project meetings with clients, consultants and stakeholders to review project performance and resolve project issues.

• Support the Project Director in strategic planning, resource allocation and project reporting to senior management.

• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to maintain high standards of project delivery and operational excellence.

• Ensure proper documentation, reporting and project governance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  

  Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.

  • Minimum 15–20 years of experience in construction projects with at least 5 years in senior management or project leadership roles.

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale building, infrastructure or EPC projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management practices and contract administration.

  • Familiar with Singapore construction regulations, including BCA, MOM, WSH and relevant authority requirements.

  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional project teams effectively.

  • Experience in managing project cost, programme, risk and quality control.

  • Professional certifications such as PE, PMP or equivalent will be an advantage.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to drive project delivery under tight schedules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead new market development for BYD’s comprehensive range of commercial electric vehicles and related green energy products and solutions.

2. Define target market segments, develop go-to-market strategies, and drive execution of sales and business development initiatives.

3. Develop and manage annual and long-term sales plans to achieve growth targets.

4. Oversee sales performance across BYD’s commercial EV portfolio and associated product lines, ensuring sustained growth and market penetration in Singapore.

5. Manage the commercial function with accountability for P&L performance, distributor portfolio management, and revenue optimisation.

6. Identify, prepare, and participate in tenders and projects related to commercial EVs and green energy solutions.

7. Collaborate and liaise with internal departments to ensure cross-functional alignment and operational synergy.

8. Lead, develop, and manage the Sales Team, ensuring strong performance, discipline, and capability building.

9. Drive strategic partnerships, key account development, and major customer engagements.

10. Perform other duties and strategic initiatives as assigned by the Managing Director.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline

• Proven leadership experience in commercial vehicle sales, automotive sales, fleet sales, or B2B sales environments

• Strong track record in market development and revenue growth

• Experience managing distributors, partners, or channel sales structures is highly advantageous

• Solid commercial acumen with experience managing business performance / P&L exposure preferred

• Familiarity with government projects, tenders, or large-scale commercial deals is a strong advantage

• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organisation.
