About the Role

The Solutions Engineer is responsible for supporting customer deployment success across unmanned systems and wireless networking integrations and will play a key role in enabling customers to successfully deploy Doodle Labs radios in real-world autonomous systems.

In this role, you will work closely with robotics engineers, autonomy teams, field operators, firmware engineers, and customer program teams to integrate, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize wireless networking solutions across drones, UGVs, USVs, and other robotic platforms. What You’ll Do

Architecture & Ownership

What You’ll Work On in the First 6–12 Months

• Establish and stabilize a production-grade OpenWrt software baseline across Doodle Labs wireless router platforms, including build system structure, feeds, and long-term maintenance strategy.

Site Engineer

Job Description

This position is mainly responsible for on-site construction supervision, engineering coordination, progress monitoring, quality verification, and testing/inspection support for semiconductor facility engineering projects.

The scope of work includes civil construction stages, M&E installation, instrumentation and control wiring, signal cable installation, control panel installation, PLC / SCADA / GMS system testing, and project handover activities.

The role is primarily responsible for ensuring contractors’ works comply with drawings, specifications, project schedules, and project requirements, while supporting the engineering team in site management and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise on-site construction activities, monitor work progress, and ensure quality compliance.
2. Coordinate work arrangements among clients, main contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.
3. Ensure site works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
4. Conduct daily site inspections to monitor manpower attendance, construction progress, material deliveries, and site conditions.

Your Opportunity

Doodle Labs develops market-leading broadband mesh radios. Products include handheld mesh hotspots (Wearable Smart Radio) and tiny embedded multi-band radios for robots (Helix). Your opportunity is to build novel RF products while implementing Doodle Labs’ patented RF techniques. You will design and develop next generation wireless communication systems utilizing Wi-Fi 4/5/6/6E chipsets and protocols.

Job Description

· Perform detailed radio frequency translation plans and architectures

· Evaluate gain, noise parameters (NF, SNR), dynamic range, linearity, and power consumption analyses to execute a predictable, robust design

· Collaborate with CAD engineers and drive PCB implementation of the design with emphasis on clean power supply design, interconnect design for required EMI and RF transmission performance

· Participate in design reviews and prepare design documentations at every stage of development until the final prototype test and characterization

· Perform parametric evaluation of transceivers, like Pout, IMD/IP3, EVM, noise parameters with spectrum analyser, modulation analyser and perform wireless link level functional evaluation to complete the product characterization

· Collaborate with product engineers for various certification procedures and NPI, followed by the Transfer of Technology (ToT) for large quantity production

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electronics Communication Engineering or Digital Communication Engineering

· Minimum 4 year of experience as a RF system hardware with proven track record of meeting industry delivery standards in the relevant areas

· Good interpersonal and creative skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding and fast paced environment

· Hands-on experience in the design and integration of RF, Analog, and Mix signal blocks such as PA, LNA, mixer, frequency synthesizer, filter, coupler, detector, microcontroller, etc., supplemented with knowledge of specification derivation from system level requirements

· Experience working with basic CAD tools and competence in evaluation flow and operation of appropriate test equipment to evaluate product performance

· Experience in script writing such as Bash, python etc., will be a plus as it is used in test automation
