Job Description

· To assist FM Department in managing customer accounts and in charge of the day-to-day operations of the FM team.

Requirements

· Degree in Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services or related disciplines.

The Facilities Director (FD) will provide leadership and oversight of all General Affairs activities in India along with the Facilities coordination of the India offices in Bangalore, Noida, Pune, Hyderabad. This includes managing financial budgets, managing projects, and coordinating administrative support across the team. As a people manager, the FD will complete tasks in a resourceful and effective way whilst working on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. The FD will understand the implications of their work and relish the opportunity to make recommendations for solutions.

Principal Accountabilities

Facilities Management -

• Liaising with the landlords, contractors and service providers (Security, utilities, air conditioning, etc), managing the relationships and ensuring service delivery meets business requirements.  Conducting regular reviews to ensure service providers deliver & maintain good service standards.
• End-to-end management of contracts (in agreement with the purchasing department) with external providers including: preparing documents for tenders, obtaining quotes, assessing costs for goods and services to ensure maximum value for money, project management, ensuring appropriate legal documentation is obtained (e.g. Licence to Alter etc) co-ordination of work of contractors and service providers, and checking that agreed work by contractors has been completed satisfactorily and any deficiencies are followed up and resolved
• Overall management of facilities projects and supervision of planned preventive maintenance and compliance.
• Responding appropriately to emergencies and urgent issues as they arise
• Main ISO contact for the respective sites in charge 
• Support the energy management system and team implementing the energy policy, setting achievable targets for energy use, and designing action plans to reach them and measure progress.
• Coordination of maintenance work of technical building equipment
• Monitor working environment and liaise with colleagues & suppliers to ensure it is maintained to a pleasant and professional standard, arranging for repairs etc as appropriate
• Planning best space allocation and utilisation of buildings resources, working with Executive Team as appropriate.
• Ensure any statutory testing takes place on time, and keeping relevant records
• Project Management of any planned expansion (or reduction) of India associated site facilities, pro-actively planning & implementing these strategies, demonstrating appropriate discretion & confidentiality when required, liaising with lawyers, surveyors and specialist contractors and suppliers to ensure overall goals are achieved.
• Ensuring appropriate employee communication on buildings issues or works being completed.
• Point of Contact for all town and country/ public authorities.

Health & Safety and BCP-

• Establishing, reviewing and updating India health and safety policies and ensuring they are observed, liaising with external consultancies as required
• Coordinate India Health and Safety routines (such as fire drills and inspections).
• Undertake Risk Assessments and Accident Investigations, and implementing subsequent action plans
• Maintain accident records for the offices and ensure appropriate reports are issued.
• Manage the First Aid and Fire Warden databases, and ensure appropriate Training occurs & is kept current.
• Provision of appropriate documentation to demonstrate compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Coordinate and control India BCP (business continuity program) activities.

Office/Administration Management-

• Day to day management of the administration team, including taking responsibility for the performance and development of these individuals
• Ensuring that the India reception function is run to provide an effective & professional first point of contact for all visitors. This will include the provision of lunchtime, holiday and absence cover as appropriate.

Financial Management-

• Negotiates on costs with third party vendors
• Assesses projects using cost benefit analysis methods
• Managing the overall budget ensuring financial KPIs are met
• Obtaining Capex and overall financial approvals for facilities projects
• Preparation of financial project presentations
• Monthly budget reviews
• Help prepare AOP for forthcoming year

General Administration-

• To provide administrative support to the Facilities Director, EMEA in respect of starters and leavers.
• To be responsible for maintaining a full contract database, including copies of contracts and insurance certificates
• To maintain supplier set-up and onboarding
• Provide a customer facing approach to all enquiries at offices, often as the first point of contact for visitors. Answering the telephone and professionally dealing with all queries and complaints.
• Overseeing incoming post and producing all outgoing correspondence on behalf of the office
• To provide financial administration of the accounts system, raising Purchase Orders and dealing with urgent invoices etc to progress for payment.
• Overseeing courier services.
• Managing the offices to ensure stationary, equipment, meeting rooms and the environment meet the needs of the users.
• Any ad hoc tasks as deemed reasonable by your manager.

Engineering Management

responsible for the planning, development, and management of infrastructure and facilities across Suntec

Singapore.

The role encompasses leading projects from concept through to completion, including the development of

5. Process Optimisation & Governance

• Drive operational efficiency and standardisation across placement processes
• Enhance internal workflows, systems usage, and documentation standards
• Ensure adherence to compliance, audit, and regulatory frameworks in Singapore and across jurisdictions
• Contribute to strategic initiatives to strengthen Singapore as a regional placement hub

Key Requirements

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Fac or Treaty broking, and/or facilities
• Proven track record in executing complex placements across multiple markets
• Strong technical understanding of underwriting, pricing dynamics, reinsurance structures, and reinsurance wordings
• Experience working with regional (APAC) and global reinsurance markets
• Strong attention to detail, with disciplined approach to documentation and governance
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a leading reinsurance broker or reinsurer
• Familiarity with Singapore regulatory environment and regional market practices
• Exposure to facility structuring and portfolio solutions
• The role requires liaising with Mandarin/Korean/Japanese clients. Knowledge of Mandarin/Korean/Japanese language is essential

Oversee and manage multiple project delivery for Global Construction projects for South Asia region and from time to time supporting other projects / regions as required. Reporting to the Senior Director for Global Facilities and Construction to ensure that projects are successfully and safely delivered on time and within budget, managing change and assessing the operational and financial risks for proposed construction project plans and process for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and project management tasks. Ability to multitask, possessing sound leadership, mentoring and communication skills in order to prioritize projects according to urgency or internal client demands, and effectively delegate tasks to project managers and team members. Development of relationships with internal and external customers and organizations

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for the management of multiple projects based at a Micron Facility.

• Develop and implement project execution strategy, ensure the implementation of quality control standards and cost control on project for on time completion

• Report Project progress throughout the project cycle to ensure on time completion, escalating deviations that may adversely impact the project outcome.

• Responsible for the safe delivery of projects to budget and schedule.

• Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution between engineering and construction discipline.

• Work closely with Teams from Global and Site Facilities, Global EHS, Global Procurement, Corporate Finance as well as external industry agencies and consultants to assure coordination of design and construction with all working groups

• Assure the company procedures, business conduct and ethics policies are being complied with at all times

• Identify risks and adverse influences that can impact the outcome of a project in order to develop realistic delivery plans and ensure that goals are met.

• Good stakeholder management and interfacing skills

• Invest time in coaching and mentoring people, and help team members learn and grow

• Establish strong working relationship with internal customers to ensure good alignment of needs and expectations, keeping them up to date with project status and challenges.

Skills / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in a Construction, Building, Project Management, Engineering or Architecture related field.

• Qualification or Membership of a major Industry Professional body is desirable.

• Experience as a construction project management in EPCM project

• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.

• Ability to integrate and work in a global multicultural team

• Flexibility and willingness to travel on a regular basis

• Able to complete projects in a timely manner.

• Cost and Schedule management experience.

• Good analytical and organizational abilities required to ensure effective management and decision making.

Minimum Experience & Skills:

• Suitable candidates are likely to have a minimum of 15 years working experience consist of 10 years’ experience in construction with minimum 5 years in managerial role as a Senior Project Manager or Director

• Demonstrable experience in the management of multi-disciplined semiconductor projects and/or other relevant industries is strongly preferred.

• Practiced in project control mechanisms and with commercial and technical risk assessments

• Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.

• Outstanding organization, coordination and leadership skills – ability to coordinate and motivate groups of Consultants / Contractors.

• Ability to work collaboratively and pro-actively in a team environment.
