Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Delivery & Platform Engineering

• Set up new deployment pipelines and ensure seamless CI/CD processes using enterprise DevOps tooling.
• Onboard new repositories into Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, and JIRA, enabling end-to-end development lifecycle integration.

The main responsibility of this position is to deliver on an industry innovation research project. The Research Fellow/Engineer will be a key member of the research team focused on developing a framework for soil conditioning in Singapore soils through a series of experimental investigations. Additionally, they will work on delivering a novel Screw Conveyor Extraction Test (SCET) equipment, crucial for accurately assessing the effectiveness of soil conditioning in tunneling processes. The proposed framework and equipment will be validated at an active tunneling site.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in and manage the research project with the Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met.

• Execute all experiments (e.g. foam stability test, slump test etc.) reliably.

•  Strong hands on experience with OpenShift (OCP) including deployment, pod diagnostics, YAML updates, image management, and debugging. 
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jenkins (or similar), and DevOps automation concepts. 
• Experience onboarding and maintaining monitoring/logging tools such as Geneos, Splunk, Kibana, etc.
• Proficiency in Linux scripting, shell commands, file movement, and troubleshooting. 
• Working knowledge of Oracle SQL and database environment setup across SIT/UAT/PROD. 
• Experience creating and maintaining Control M batch jobs. 
• Good understanding of SSL certificates, keystores, truststores, and certificate lifecycle management. 
• Understanding of Payment Systems, payment workflows, and downstream/upstream dependencies. 
• Ability to set up and administer applications on SSO/ADFS platforms.
• Exposure to Confluence, JIRA workflows, dashboards, boards, and release traceability. 
• Preferred to have knowledge or has worked on FIS Products

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the execution of surveys.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation and quality checks.
• Analyse collected data and present insights with actionable recommendations.
• Conduct research, including environmental scanning and literature reviews.
• Support reporting and documentation for policy and programme decisions.

Requirements:

• Background in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Behavioural Science, or related disciplines.
• Proficiency in R, Python, or other programming languages for data analysis.
• Strong skills in data analysis, visualisation, and interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for environmental sustainability and research.
