Field Service Technician (Scientific)

We’re looking for hands-on individuals to support essential operations across various sites. This role involves physical tasks such as equipment cleaning and maintenance (e.g., cleaning condenser of the compressor system , cleaning of equipment , and will require travel to different locations.

While the work is routine, it plays a vital role in maintaining high operational standards. You will gain valuable field service experience and exposure to industry-leading practices, which serve as a strong foundation for future career growth.

Scope of Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Perform maintenance and calibration services in accordance with maintenance checklist such as Cold Storage Equipment, Ovens and Furnaces and Water Purification System
• Obtain customer signoff on e-service reports and update ticketing system as required to close job
• Perform adhoc works as assigned by superior

Requirements

• Minimum a ITE or Diploma in Engineering related Field
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite
• Knowledge of Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical
• Training will be provided to work on CRM tools
• Training on device/equipment maintenance and calibration will be provided
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills
• Open to travel to different sites

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with set designers and producers to develop lighting design solutions for TV productions, outdoor broadcast recordings, and live telecasts
• To provide both creative and operational expertise in lighting ensuring the production meets the company's visual and aesthetics standards.
• Responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining lighting equipment and power distribution.
• Assist in planning, designing, plotting and executing lighting plans for TV productions and Live broadcasts.

• Diploma or NITEC in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related.
• 3-6 years of experience in the lighting industry.
• Proficiency in lighting/AV software, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, and computer graphics rendering.
• Knowledge of and ability to program using ETC Apex console, GrandMA 2 or 3, and Avolites.

• Conduct in-process quality inspections throughout various stages of production to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Monitor, record, and verify critical process parameters to maintain product quality and process consistency.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

1. Deploy and monitor robots on different construction sites, which includes liaising with site supervisors.

2. Basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.

3. Train construction workers and clients on how to operate, troubleshoot and integrate our robots into their daily workflows.
