Job Duties:

• Manage the reviews/validation of various distribution report eg production tracking reports etc.
• Manage end to end activities to ensure validations are according to business rule, timely and accurately.
• Drive to understand the business requirements from business case/request and visualizations of business data. Analyse data to identify patterns and draw insights to support business decisions
• Contribute on analytical insight into the business process by coordinating different functions and/or stakeholders
• Propose solution and support the development of processing models and present the explainable outcomes to support the organisation’s operations and execution of key distribution compensation strategies.
• Trouble shooting and provide interim solutions for business continuity
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Finance/Statistics/Mathematics/Economic
• 2-3 years in data analytics, business Analysis and finance operations preferably in financial/Insurance industry in Singapore
• Experience in various data analytics tools eg Alteryx, Anaplan, Python, Power BI, SQL, etc

Responsibilities

The Investment Counselling team at the Firm serves as its think tank in terms of strategic and tactical ideation while closely supporting the Relationship Managers (Advisors) in servicing the investment mandates of Clients by:

• defining and steering the Firm’s macro view and outlook on global markets and guiding the Advisors and Clients within the scope of these views to dynamically manage asset allocation and diversification
• proposing paths to market across diverse asset classes by recommending high conviction - individual securities, funds, ETFs, structured products, etc.
• closely reviewing the performance of portfolios and recommended trades vis-à-vis Client risk-return objectives and dynamically recommending rebalancing as and when necessary
• actively managing niche listed and traded fund strategies and guide Advisors regarding appropriate subscription from Clients into these funds. The performance of these Funds is centric to the Firm in showcasing the efficacy of its investment strategies
• curating market research and trade recommendations issued by the Firm’s Bank partners on an ongoing basis and adopting these where relevant per the suitability and appropriateness of the same for Clients
• supporting the business development efforts of the Advisors by engaging prospects to showcase the investment capabilities of the Firm

We are now seeking a specialist in Fixed Income / Credit Markets to join the Firm’s team of Investment Counselors.

Responsibilities:

• Originate and recommend investment strategies for global Bonds
• Actively manage a Bond Fund run by the Firm by formulating a dynamic strategy that is aligned to the outlook for Credit Markets as formulated by the Fixed Income specialist
• Conduct detailed research and analysis in selecting Bonds to populate the Fund strategy and Client allocations to Fixed Income
• To understand clients' risk profile, investment needs and construct and execute investment solutions
• Regularly review and recommend any necessary rebalancing of portfolios to Advisors and Clients
• Present all investment solutions in a high standard, professional manner
• Share knowledge and best practices with the Advisors
• Support Financial Advisors in providing ongoing investment advice to clients
• Ongoing client relationships for the Company based on past experience of dealing with High Net Worth Clients
• Support the business development efforts of the Advisors by actively engaging prospects
• Develop risk controls, overall trading position limits, stop losses and hedging strategies – for the Fund and individual Client portfolios where applicable. Drive timely and disciplined order execution for the Funds’ position
• Actively work with the other Investment Counsellors in advocating the overall mutli-asset, holistic macro and portfolio views of the Team
• Maintain a high standard of ethics and conduct and ensure confidentiality of clients’ assets & information.
• Ensure strict adherence to the Company’s policies, rules & regulations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Banking/Business/Economics/Engineering/Finance/Maths
• Certifications required from CMFAS Modules 1A, 5, 6A and 8A
• At least 7 to 10 years’ experience in an Investment Advisory / Fixed Income product specialist Role
• Experience of working in Wealth Management at a Bank and/or with an Independent / External Asset Manager and/or a Fund Manager will be preferred.
• Demonstrable track record of driving sound investment strategies and related selection and tracking of Bonds through sound fundamental and technical analysis of the issuers
• Experience in managing a Fund or supporting the management of the same, while not necessary, is preferred
• Conversant in other asset classes with ability to contribute to and follow the ideation and recommendations of other Investment Counsellors. Should be able to hold conversations with Clients from a holistic and diversified perspective
• An existing network of potential Clients that the candidate could look to engage on behalf of the Firm will be deemed an added advantage

Investment Operations Manager (Analyst-Focused Role)

Overview

Our client is a Single Family Office established in 2019, managing a diversified multi-asset portfolio. Due to business expansion and long-term strategic growth plans, they are hiring an investment professional to support the Principal in managing and growing the portfolio.

While the title is “Manager,” this is fundamentally an analyst-driven role. The successful candidate must have a strong research background and the ability to independently analyse deals and investments, formulate investment views, and provide clear buy/sell/hold recommendations across both bankable securities and private equity opportunities.

This role offers a unique opportunity for a hands-on individual to be deeply involved in portfolio construction and asset allocation, deal evaluation, transaction execution, portfolio monitoring, and fund operations within a lean and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment Research & Deal Analysis (Core Focus)

• Conduct in-depth research and fundamental analysis across asset classes, including public equities, fixed income, funds, and private equity.
• Evaluate private equity opportunities through detailed financial modelling, valuation analysis (DCF, trading/transaction multiples, sum-of-the-parts), and return projections (IRR, MOIC, sensitivity analysis).
• Develop investment theses and provide well-supported buy/sell/hold recommendations for both bankable securities and private market investments.
• Perform industry, macroeconomic, and thematic research to support portfolio positioning.
• Analyse financial statements and assess business quality, risk factors, and capital structures.
• Prepare investment memoranda, recommendation papers, and presentation materials for Investment Committee discussions.
• Support due diligence processes, including financial, commercial, and operational review.
• Participate in company meetings, earnings calls, conferences, and discussions with external managers to gather insights.

2. Portfolio Monitoring & Performance Review

• Monitor performance of bankable assets against benchmarks and risk parameters; conduct attribution and scenario analysis.
• Track private equity portfolio companies against underwriting assumptions and investment cases.
• Review and analyse monthly/quarterly reports from fund managers and portfolio companies, highlighting key risks, variances, and developments.
• Support monthly valuation reviews and consolidated performance reporting.
• Conduct post-investment reviews and performance attribution analysis.

3. Fund Documentation & Investment Operations

• Handling fund documentation and operational matters will form part of the role, including:
• Review and process fund subscription documentation, capital call notices, distribution notices, and (where applicable) transfer documentation.
• Read and analyse monthly/quarterly reports generated by fund managers or fund administrators, summarising key financial and operational updates.
• Support transaction processing (subscriptions, capital calls, redemptions, transfers, trade settlements).
• Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, auditors, and other third-party service providers.
• Maintain proper investment records, data rooms, and documentation tracking.
• Support compliance, KYC/AML documentation, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assist in Investment Committee meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-ups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in investment research, asset management, private equity, or fund operations (buy-side experience preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to independently assess investments and provide clear recommendations.
• Solid financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Good understanding of private equity deal structures, fund mechanics, and capital flows.
• Experience reviewing fund documents and interpreting fund manager reports.
• Comfortable working in a lean structure where research and operations responsibilities overlap.
• Proactive, intellectually curious, and commercially minded.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions); familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ or similar platforms preferred. Python/R is a plus.
