ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager – Group Consolidation to oversee and manage the financial consolidation process for our investment holding company listed in SGX Catalist board. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS(I)), SGX regulations, and other statutory requirements. The role also involves working closely with subsidiaries and associates, external auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting as well as managing full sets of accounts and day-to-day operations of a few key entities.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Prepare monthly, half-yearly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
· Work closely with the finance teams of subsidiaries and HQ to ensure accurate elimination of intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
· Assist in financial disclosures for SGX Catalist announcements, half-yearly and annual reports.
· Assist in ensuring compliance with SFRS(I) and SGX listing requirements are meet.
· Manage full set of financial reports for 3 subsidiary entities, including GST and XBRL submission.
· Assist the Group Finance Manager in reviewing the financial reports of subsidiaries.
· Assist in the external and internal audit process, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit matters.
· Ensure compliance with corporate tax, GST, and other tax regulations in Singapore.
· Support financial due diligence, integration, and consolidation of newly acquired businesses.
· Support day-to-day operational needs and provide guidance to finance team members.
· Support internal controls and process improvement initiatives.
· This role presents an exciting entry level managerial positions for strong candidates who have not worked in listed companies before but are eager to learn and expose himself/herself in a listed company environment.
Requirements:
· Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or ACCA preferred).
· Minimum 2 years of experience in consolidation.
· Minimum 2 years of managerial or equivalent experience.
· Possess good consolidation knowledge and hands on abilities.
· Good knowledge of SFRS(I), IFRS, and SGX Catalist regulations.
· Preferred having experience in working with XERO.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Team player and able to work under pressure
· Prior audit/accounting services experience is a plus.
· Experience in SGX-listed company is a plus.
