About The Role  

The Design & Bid Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic and technical excellence of electronic security solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. This leadership position oversees the design, costing, and proposal development of integrated security systems—including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection—for enterprise, government, and critical infrastructure clients. 

You will lead a team of design engineers and bid estimators, collaborate with sales and delivery teams, and ensure that all solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, and aligned with client requirements and industry standards. 

The role combines hands on bid management, project leadership, people management, technical oversight, and strategic collaboration to ensure AVTEL’s competitive edge in the marketplace. 

As a regional leader, the Design & Bid Manager will work closely with internal departments and business stakeholders to align bid content with technical and commercial requirements. Bid Management & Strategy 

• Engage in hands-on bid management work, contributing directly to bid content and strategy. 

• Oversee the regional end-to-end bid process from prequalification to final submission. 

• Define regional bid strategy in collaboration with Group Bid Manager and Sales leadership across the region.  

• Coordinate bid planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet deadlines. 

• Review RFI/RFP/PQQ documents and ensure compliance with client specifications. 

• Develop and refine win strategies, value propositions, and competitive positioning. 

• Lead bid reviews at key stages and ensure internal approvals and governance are met. 

Design & Estimation/ Costing Leadership  

• Lead the development of scalable, innovative electronic security designs tailored to client needs. 

• Ensure compliance with regional regulations, standards (e.g., AS/NZS, IEC), and cybersecurity protocols. 

• Oversee system architecture for integrated platforms (e.g., VMS, PSIM, ACS). 

• Develop accurate, competitive cost models for security projects across APAC. 

• Review BOMs, labour estimates, and third-party vendor pricing. 

• Optimize cost-efficiency without compromising quality or compliance. 

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration 

• Act as the regional liaison for all internal bid-related stakeholders, facilitating coordination between business stakeholders.  

• Organize and lead bid kick-off, progress, and review meetings with all contributors. 

• Maintain relationships with external consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors as needed for design input or proposal content. 

Process Improvement & Tools Management 

• Drive improvements in bid workflows, templates, and documentation standards. ·  

• Standardize design and estimation processes across the region. 

• Implement QA/QC protocols for all technical submissions. 

• Ensure consistent use of digital collaboration platforms (Office 365, SharePoint, NetSuite). 

• Maintain and improve the bid library, content repository, and pricing templates. 

• Maintain a repository of design templates, pricing tools, and reference projects. 

• Champion data driven decision-making and process automation where applicable. 

Reporting & Pipeline Management 

• Provide bid progress updates, risk flags, and performance metrics to the Group Bid Manager. 

• Monitor and report on team workload, pipeline activity, and regional win rates. 

• Track and support updates in NetSuite related to sales opportunities and bid milestones. 

Who we are looking for  

We are looking for a dynamic and hands on professional with a strong background in bid management, technical design, or pre-sales—ideally within the security, construction, or ICT sectors. The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years of relevant experience and at least 2 years in a leadership role, with a proven ability to manage complex, multi-regional bids and lead high-performing teams. You possess a solid understanding of system integration design and pricing is essential, along with excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Security Engineer / Architect to help secure our systems, data, and funds across our infrastructure.

You’ll work closely with IT, Infra, R&D, Web3, Product, and business teams to design practical security controls, lead security projects end-to-end, run offensive security exercises, and support ongoing security initiatives. This is a role for someone who is comfortable going from high-level architecture to very concrete implementation details and automation.

• OSCP – we expect a deep, hands-on understanding of offensive techniques, not just theory.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent broad security leadership/architecture certifications.
• Relevant GIAC certs (e.g., GWAPT, GCPN, GSEC, GCLD, GCIA, GIAC Cloud / Web / Exploit tracks).
• Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer).
• Kubernetes / container security or general K8s certifications (CKS, CKA, etc.).

We are looking for part-time assistant photographers to assist our professional photographers in Corporate Headshot / Portraits Photography services. 

Requirements:

• Have a passion in photography and know the fundamentals

• Knows how to set up photography lighting equipment

• Having done Corporate Photography is a plus, but not necessary

• Able to use photo editing software like Lightroom. 

• Service-oriented (important as you will be facing clients!)

• Communication skills (proficient in English)

• Ability to work flexible hours on a part-time basis

• Travelling to different locations for shoots/events

• Owning your own laptop is a plus

• Candidates of all ages (>16yo) and nationalities are welcome! (foreigners must hold a valid work/student pass)

Responsibilities:

• Assist the photographer in setting up the backdrop, lights, and tether connection on the laptop.

• Assist the photographer in testing the setup.

• Liaise with the client in charge during the photoshoot to ensure that the shoot is well executed in a professional and timely manner

• Assist participants in selecting their photos after taking photos, and give recommendations according to your photography knowledge.

• Assess the photos selected in the lens of photography (focus, sharpness, composition) 

• Assist in tearing down the setup after the photoshoot and perform an equipment check.
