1. Act as Workplace Safety and Health Officer in all safety and health matters.
2. Carry out the duties stipulated as per WSH Regulation.
3. In Charged in the investigation of a fatal accident, dangerous occurrences, occupational diseases.
4. Conduct accident / incident investigation interview.
5. Lead Safety supervisor in investigating any accident which took place within the factory and verify the supervisor’s report and action taken to remove the cause of the accident.
6. Function as secretary for the safety committee meetings, and enforce safety rules and regulations.
7. Advise job safety analysis, job instruction training, safe work procedure, method statement and risk analysis.
8. Inspect and assess all work area as a Safety Assessor, ensure all control measures are in place and in compliance, before endorsing the Permit to work for approval by Operation Manager.
9. Attend all EHS walkabout, inspection, meeting and contribute to a safe working condition / environment.
10. Conduct regular on-job training and disseminate risk associated with any new job process or equipment and refresher.
11. Conduct environmental monitoring of workplace and Implement checklist for upkeep of the premises.
12. Ensure full compliance for the Fall Prevention Plan and Workplace Human and Vehicle traffic Plan.
13. Ensure provisions of the WSH Acts and subsidiary legislation are in compliance, and to assist WSHO implement and promote the EHS programme.
14. Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirement
1. Diploma In Safety and Health Management or above. As Certified DOSH Registered Safety and Health Officer.
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in workplace safety and health works. Working in Precast industry is added advantages.
3. Computer literate, preferable in Microsoft Office applications or equivalent.
4. Others ：Self-motivation, able to work under pressure and fast-paced working
environment.
