Job Responsibilities
·       Ensure full compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and all subsidiary legislations
·       Liaise with authorities such as Ministry of Manpower Singapore and Workplace Safety and Health Council on all WSH matters
·       Implement and maintain company WSH policies, procedures, and safe work practices
·       Conduct and review Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) for all work activities
·       Identify workplace hazards and recommend control measures following the hierarchy of controls
·       Monitor implementation and effectiveness of risk controls at site
·       Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with WSH requirements
·       Enforce safety rules and regulations across all project sites
·       Stop unsafe work practices and implement corrective actions when necessary
·       Lead investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences
·       Prepare investigation reports and recommend preventive measures
·       Ensure timely submission of reports to authorities where required
·       Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and WSH training programs
·       Promote safety awareness and foster a strong safety culture across the organization
·       Ensure all workers are adequately trained and certified for their roles
·       Administer and control Permit-to-Work systems for high-risk activities and esure compliance with control measures before work commencement
·       Maintain WSH records including inspection reports, training records, incident logs, and compliance documents
·       Prepare monthly WSH reports and management review reports
·       Track safety KPIs and recommend improvements
·       Develop, implement Emergency Response Plans and conduct emergency drills
·       Coordinate with emergency services when required
·       Monitor subcontractors’ compliance with WSH requirements
·       Conduct safety briefings and coordination meetings with stakeholders
·       Ensure all contractors adhere to project safety standards
·       Drive WSH initiatives and safety campaigns
·       Managing ISO 45001 and WSHMS of the company
·       Recommend and implement improvements to enhance workplace safety performance
Job Requirements
·       MOM registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
·       Preferably with ECO licensed
·       Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in building and construction safety management
·       Proficient knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
·       Strong communication skills to effectively engage across departments and functions
·       In-depth knowledge of construction industry activities and safety requirements
