Responsibilities
• Strategic Sourcing & Market Intelligence: Identify and develop a resilient supply base. Monitor market trends and global economic shifts to provide insights that influence project forecasting and budgeting.
• Tender Leadership: Lead complex RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes. Ensure all sourcing activities align with corporate Procurement Governance while maintaining speed and agility.
• Commercial Negotiation: Execute negotiation strategies that optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Focus on securing competitive pricing alongside favorable payment terms, risk-sharing frameworks, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Financial & Data Analysis: Conduct rigorous price and cost-structure analysis. Adjudicate awards by building data-driven business cases for management approval.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement strategies with operational needs.
• Contract & Risk Management: Proactively identify vulnerabilities in the supply chain. Manage vendor performance and lead dispute resolutions to ensure continuity of supply and quality excellence.
• Operational Oversight: Supervise the full PO lifecycle, including change orders and delivery tracking, ensuring seamless closing and financial reconciliation.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally within an engineering environment.
• Degree or Diploma, preferably in Engineering, Information Technology or Supply Chain Management.
• Proficiency in SAP (preferred) or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize based on business urgency and impact.
• Confident communicator capable of influencing stakeholders across different levels and cultural backgrounds.
• High ethical standards with a meticulous eye for detail and a self-motivated drive for excellence.
