Job Summary
This role supports the Corporate Affairs, Brand and Marketing (CABM) team, focusing on the Global Private Banking business focusing on global sponsorship activation and events support. The candidate will work closely with the Global Head of Events in Private Bank Marketing to develop and execute sponsorship activities and events.
Key Responsibilities
Business
• Execute marketing activities for sponsorship partnerships in collaboration with the Global Head of Events.
• Track and monitor activity results in measuring ROI.
• Collaborate across businesses, functions, and markets to achieve common business and marketing objectives.
• Navigate change management and complexities within a global and large organization.
Processes
• To oversee the entire nomination, invitation and feedback process of the sponsorship and events activation
Governance
• Manage Agencies, Gift and Entertainment and Budgets accordingly
Regulatory and Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key stakeholders
• Group Sponsorship teams, Agency, markets and business management teams.
Our Ideal Candidate
• 5+ years of experience in events management, particularly within the financial marketing sector or sports hospitality sector, is highly valued.
• A background in private banking is a plus.
• The candidate must be Creative, detail-oriented and capable of interfacing with senior stakeholders.
• Candidate must be willing to travel
