RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Ingot & Wafer (IW) cum Contract Manufacturing Engineer with good ethics and strong passion to take on proactive roles of qualifying and managing external suppliers to achieve company's strategic directions and key yearly goals for ingot and wafer factory. This position requires good analytical and interpersonal skills to work with external suppliers to achieve continuous improvements in IW cost, yield and cell efficiency by implementing best known methods. Key Responsibilities

• Run the factory when the Factory Manager is away.
• Lead and support Production Supervisors and Line Leaders; drive performance and accountability.
• Plan and manage 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night), including weekends and public holidays.
• Ensure effective training and coaching for new Operators and Line Leaders.
• Meet daily production volume and efficiency targets.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity, quality, and safety.
• Make sure teams follow all work instructions, equipment rules, and quality standards.
• Ensure full compliance with Safety, GMP, and Quality policies; coordinate general waste collection and recycling (pallets and paper bags).
• Oversee and check product sample collection to meet quality/lab requirements.
• Ensure accurate and on-time production records and Navision entries.
• Maintain high housekeeping and 5S standards across the site.
• Ensure strong working knowledge of batching, dumping, and packing equipment (self and team).
• Plan and manage maintenance, including basic repairs by Line Leaders, to reduce downtime.
• Resolve major technical issues; support first-line troubleshooting and escalate to Engineering/Management only when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
