Role Description:

The role has the accountability to ensure that quality compliance standards are defined, established and maintained on site in accordance with both internal (corporate) and external regulatory expectations on current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Trainee to be involved in:

• Establish/maintain quality compliance standards consistent with Quality Management System (QMS) by providing support in areas such as:

- Reviewing site policies, procedures and training materials related to quality system

- Providing advisory support to business on compliance area

• Provide QA consultation with stakeholders to resolve issues on Document and Data Management

• Manage quality related Key Performance Indicator (KPI), including data collation, regular KPI metrics reporting and identification of issues and opportunities for improvements in site quality performance

JOB SCOPE

1. Project Management:

- Manage and monitor progress of site CAPEX projects and maintain accurate reporting and documentation.

- Perform CAPEX cash flow forecasting, monitoring and preparation of monthly reports.

- Ensure compliance of site project management practices with Alcon Financial Control Manual (AFCM) and Alcon Manual of Accounting (AMA) requirement.

- Provide regular update of site CAPEX projects status to site leadership team and key stakeholders and highlight identified risk/ issue.

- Provide support for site or corporate audits related to Assets under Construction (AuC) and project management areas.

2. Operational Excellence:

- Drive site Continuous Improvement initiatives and culture through Lean and Six Sigma training, Kaizen program, and other initiatives.

- Coordinate Lean and Six Sigma activities, data collection, reporting, and analysis.

- Facilitate Value Stream baseline exercise and workshop, to identify process bottleneck and actions plan.

3. Others:

- Support preparation, submission, reporting, audit, and follow up for government grants related to projects.

Trainee to be involved in:

• Carry out implementation activities for plant modifications, capital projects and other identified plant improvement projects in line with defined specifications, budget and qualification of facilities in accordance with site to approved procedures.

• Responsible for creating Supplier contracts and negotiating for the terms and maintain Agreements in SAP
• Responsible for vendor management to ensure approved vendors meet the delivery, quality and cost standards
• Responsible to provide customers with solutions and internal cross functional teams, for cost effectiveness

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma and above
• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in Oil and Gas / Shipyard industry
• Experience prototype projects is preferred
