You will oversee the safety and security operations of the hotel, ensuring that all guests, staff, and property are safe and secure. You will develop and implement security policies, conduct risk assessments, and lead the safety team to ensure compliance with local safety regulations and hotel policies. As a Safety & Security Manager, and facilities – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

Planning Activities

• Ensure compliance with Fire Safety, Health & Safety regulations, and internal policies, including the Global Security Manual
• Conduct regular building patrols (minimum three per 24 hours) to ensure security, fire prevention, and safe evacuation readiness
• Liaise with Department Heads to ensure staff awareness of security responsibilities; provide guidance and support, including induction training
• Plan and deliver regular safety and security training programmes (e.g. fire safety, first aid, emergency response, active threat awareness)
• Coordinate and monitor key security programmes such as lost & found, key control audits, evacuation drills, and Manager on Duty schedules
• Support event planning with Department Heads by assessing risks and recommending appropriate security measures
• Maintain strong working knowledge of the hotel’s layout and operations to anticipate and address potential risks
• Recruit, train, and develop security personnel to ensure compliance with company standards

Organising Activities

• Deploy and manage security resources to ensure optimal coverage and operational efficiency across all hotel areas
• Supervise, coach, and develop team members, ensuring training and performance standards are met
• Plan and schedule daily security operations, including manpower deployment and patrol duties
• Liaise with operational departments to stay informed of daily activities and potential risks
• Ensure compliance with Hilton’s Global Security Manual and all legal requirements
• Conduct regular internal audits and prepare security reports to identify trends and drive improvements
• Lead and document investigations into incidents (e.g. accidents, theft, loss, unlawful activity) and report findings to management

Directing Activities

• Lead the implementation of all safety and security programmes to protect guests, team members, and assets
• Coordinate with government authorities and law enforcement agencies as required
• Oversee security arrangements for events, including deployment of additional personnel
• Direct routine and ad-hoc patrols across all hotel areas, including public spaces, rooms, and back-of-house areas
• Manage incidents and determine when escalation to authorities is required
• Liaise with corporate and senior management on security policies and best practices
• Conduct inspections (e.g. lockers, personnel checks) in line with company policies
• Provide guidance to team members and departments on security-related matters, ensuring professionalism and alignment with Hilton values

Controlling Activities

• Monitor and report all incidents and accidents through approved systems, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication related to security activities
• Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to departmental standards
• Ensure compliance with fire safety, emergency procedures, anti-terrorism measures, and human rights policies (including modern slavery)
• Work with HR and departments to verify proper documentation and identification for all team members and contractors
• Oversee key control processes across departments to ensure accountability and security

• Minimum 5 years of experience in security and fire safety management.
• Valid Security Officer License issued by the Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD).
• Certified Senior Fire Safety Manager, and certification in bizSAFE Level 4 preferred.
• Certified First Aider with a valid Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) certification.
• Strong knowledge of local safety, fire, and security regulations and compliance requirements.
• Good understanding of hotel security operations and service standards.

Purpose of the role

The Campaign Manager works with both their clients and their team to ensure the efficient and effective running of their accounts. They clearly understand their clients’ objectives and requirements, the commercial terms of their retained accounts and projects and level of resource required to service the accounts. Client facing, Account Managers translate quick but creative thinking into decisive action; providing team management, delegation of tasks and exceptional core PR and media relations capabilities.

Core responsibilities

Client Management

• Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, establishing self and TEAM LEWIS as an invaluable long-term partner for marketing and communications services

• Manages all communication with the client and ensures deadlines and service agreements are met consistently by the team

• Works closely with the client and Campaign Director to regularly review account performance, identifying and communicating opportunities for additional PR, marketing and digital services

Media Relations

• Understands and avidly follows the news agenda, positioning clients and products within the wider news narrative

• Builds, maintains and develops productive relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and analysts across national, trade and vertical media channels

• Deploys rapid response to breaking news on behalf of clients, reacting quickly to emerging stories in line with client profiles

Content

• Oversees and provides content creation for campaigns and projects including media pitches, press releases, articles, blog entries, and other written material

• Drafts - and oversees the drafting of - a broad range of written materials including biographies, briefing documents, media alerts, soundbites, Q&As, backgrounders and boilerplates, ensuring a consistent level of high-quality content

• Works with content experts to improve knowledge of techniques and writing styles across multiple channels and platforms

Digital / Social Media

• Uses social media platforms to expand own network, develop media relationships and positively impact client results

• Pitches additional digital content including infographics, animations and video to support written content and client aims

• Uses social media and proactively explores new tools, solutions and processes to continuously evolve and optimise client PR campaigns

• Provides social media insight as well as execution and management of related digital activity

• Works collaboratively with the digital team to increase the utilisation of digital services wherever possible

• Supports or manages influencer-related activity where required (e.g., identification, outreach, coordination, and performance tracking) and understands how influencer work complements PR outcomes

Team working and Development

• Acts as a respected line manager, working closely with line reports to maximise strengths, improve weaknesses and support career development

• Line manages the account team, including coaching, supervision, assessment and review of junior team members

• Sets team objectives on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

• Ensures the on-going achievement of all deliverable client objectives

• Monitors team activity levels against budget, increasing and decreasing individuals' allocation where necessary

• Provides guidance to colleagues on how to best manage campaigns, including answering general new business requests

• Works with the Talent team to recruit high calibre junior level candidates into the team

Reporting and Analysis

• Ensures that all activity and results are reported back to the client, providing insight and analysis where possible

• Communicates account performance internally (account reviews) to relevant stakeholders

• Provides detailed reports to the Campaign Director or senior management team on request

General

• Runs and supports training sessions, with a view to maximize opportunities to expand team skills and grow revenues

About you

• Relevant experience of working in a B2B, corporate, consumer or digital communications agency environment at a Senior Campaign/Account Executive or Campaign/Account Manager level (experience with mass-market brands preferred)
