Job Description:

Assist the Main Teacher to care and educate a class of preschoolers (2 months – 6 years). You will be part of a team of educators that will plan and organise events in the centre for the children and their parents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting in routine care including diaper changing, preparation of milk as well as helping the children during meal times.
• Ensure the children’s safety in the school at all times.
• Help to emphasise the class rules and assist the children during lessons
• Assist the Main Teachers in preparation of lesson materials.
• Assist the Main Teacher in other administrative duties including attendance taking, daily temperature checks, bringing the children to toilet, portioning food out for the children, filling up of their water bottles.
• Create a classroom environment that is safe, joyful and conducive for learning.
• Guide and develop lifelong skills and values in children.
• Conduct simple activities like story telling and/or singing of songs and/or simple art activities with the children.
• Able to work rotating shifts

Requirements:

• Minimum with a Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (FECCE)
• Minimum Secondary 2 Level Education/ N Levels
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player who works well with others, loves children and has passion in equipping and inspiring young lives.
