Job Summary

Conduct engaging Chinese language lessons online and in-person, manage academic administration, monitor student progress, and collaborate with parents and staff to support student development in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Chinese language lessons for Primary 1 to Secondary 4 students through online and in-person formats, following school requirements
• Plan and execute assigned teaching tasks aligned with the local primary and secondary school Chinese curriculum
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to enhance student learning outcomes
• Assign homework and mark examination papers accurately in compliance with school regulations
• Maintain detailed academic records and complete required administrative documentation
• Monitor and assess students’ learning progress regularly to inform instructional adjustments
• Communicate effectively with parents to support student development and address concerns
• Participate actively in staff meetings and professional training programs to enhance teaching skills
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support school operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Recognised diploma from an accredited college or university in Chinese Language Teaching, Chinese Studies, or a related field

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working in education centres or Ministry of Education (MOE) schools
• Availability to commence work immediately or within a short notice period

Other Information

• Commitment to a two-year employment contract
• Availability to work on weekends

Plan and Implement Curriculum and Programmes

• Implement developmentally appropriate teaching, learning and caregiving activities aligned to the relevant curricula frameworks
• Conduct learning needs assessment
• Engage children meaningfully in accordance with the curriculum and pedagogical frameworks
• Implement classroom management strategies
• Enhance the learning environment with developmentally appropriate learning materials and resources
• Apply the health, safety, nutritional and hygiene practices in accordance with standards and procedures
• Document children's learning and development

Build Stakeholder Relationships and Partnerships

• Build rapport with colleagues in accordance with Centre's strategies and policies to foster positive workplace relations
• Collaborate with families to ensure continuity of care and learning between the home and the Centre

Manage Family and Community Programmes

• Execute outreach activities to promote Centre programmes and services
• Execute collaborative projects with families and community stakeholders
• Propose areas for improvements for family and community initiatives and programmes

Conduct Routine Caregiving

• Conduct caregiving assessment
• Provide caregiving in accordance with standards and procedures
• Identify areas for improvements in caregiving routines

Uplift Professional Practice

• Implement appropriate teaching and caregiving methods based on emerging sector trends, technologies and tools
• Identify areas for improvements for professional practice
• Participate in professional development and service quality improvement activities
• Demonstrate behaviour that is aligned with the Centre's vision, mission and values

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) or equivalent;

Mathematics Specialist Teacher (Grade 1 to 5) commencing on 1 August 2026

The Elementary School is seeking applications from enthusiastic, qualified Teachers with a degree in Education with an emphasis on Mathematics, for a Mathematics Specialist teaching position (Grade 1 to 5) starting 1  August 2026. 
Applicants should have experience in teaching and supporting Mathematics instructions and student learning across grade levels. 

Position Requirements

*International Primary Curriculum (IPC) experience preferred but not essential.

* International School teaching experience is preferred

*Be able to implement the school-wide Mathematics Curriculum and be responsible for; identifying and evaluating student needs in Mathematics, providing individualised instructions, assessing and tracking student progress, supporting classroom practices and providing feedback to parents and teachers.

* Be able to provide specific and individualised instruction to identified students.

* Excellent communication skills, time management and adaptability.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team and participate in the wider school community.

* Experience teaching English second language learners is preferred.

* Proficiency in using educational technology.

Qualifications

* Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education is required.

* Professional current teaching certification is required.

Administration of Local Training Activities     

• Collation of course nominations
• Process training applications
• Confirmation of training details
• Raise payment request for the payment and reimbursement of course fees
• Monitor attendance register, course attendance and perform course followup
• Monitor submission of post-training forms / reports / certificates / payments /results
• Provide training support for programmes
• Prepare of course materials
• Prepare in-house training venue
• Assist to prepare and submit funding/claim application

Maintenance of Learning Management System           

• Maintain training catalogue and training records in LMS
• Record of learning history upon training completion
• Prepare monthly training report and other reports requested by supervisors

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in any field
• Good to have prior HR experience / internship
• Those with 1 to 2 years of HR exp will be an advantage
