Quantity Surveyor (QS)
· Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and budgets for construction projects.
· Manage tendering processes, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.
· Monitor project costs and track variations to ensure the project stays within budget.
· Conduct site measurements and valuations for interim payments and final accounts.
· Liaise with contractors, clients, and consultants on cost-related issues.
. Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
· Assist in contract administration, including reviewing contracts and managing claims.
· Oversee all cost control activities across multiple projects.
· Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in contract management.
· Provide advice on cost-effective solutions and potential risks to senior management.
· Prepare financial reports and cost forecasts for project stakeholders.
Requirement:
· Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
· Quantity Surveyor requires 2 years of experience in cost estimation and contract management.
