It began in 1966 with the founding of Yew Lean Foundry & Co Sdn Bhd (initial cast iron factory) and later expanded into pipe manufacturing, fittings and infrastructure services.

While it has diversified into new areas (meters, chemicals, services) to adapt to evolving markets, it currently faces headwinds in profitability and demand. The strategic repositioning is underway, but the effectiveness of that shift will be key for future performance.
