• Position: Accounts Assistant (AP / AR)
• Location: Ang Mo Kio, few bus stops from AMK MRT
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Salary: Up to $3,000 basic + bonus + medical and dental benefits

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to the Accounts Executive to ensure smooth day-to-day finance operations.
• Assist in processing staff expense claims and petty cash claims accurately and efficiently.
• Support daily AR, AP and cashbook entries, including payment processing and timely vendor disbursements.
• Assist in preparing accounting schedules, supporting documents and explanations for audit queries.
• Provide basic administrative and operational coverage for the finance team during absences.
• Maintain proper documentation, indexing and filing for the Accounts Department.
• Perform other administrative or accounting duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in partial or supporting accounting functions.
• Basic understanding of full-set accounting concepts to support audit schedules and query resolutions will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and Outlook.
• Able to support occasional overtime during peak closing periods when required.

Job Responsibilities:

- Handle full sets of accounts (Excluding AR)

- Prepare and submit GST return quarterly

- Prepare monthly/ quarterly financial reports and accounts schedules

- Maintaining accurate journal entries and monthly reconciliation

- Liaise with external auditors to coordinate the company’s financial year end audit

- Process staff reimbursements

- Maintain good documentation and filing system

- Liaise with bankers when necessary

Requirements:

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Words

- Meticulous and detailed individual with analytical skills

- Possess positive attitude and ability to work with others

- Independent individual

- Good organization, time management and communication skills

- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin

Additional Information:

- Minimum qualification: Diploma in Accounting
