Role Description

As a Cybersecurity Architect in Thales you are responsible for the planning and management of cybersecurity-related activities on bids and projects you are assigned to for the delivery of acceptable cyber security outcomes for our internal and external customers.

In this role, you are expected to:

• Advise on and manage cybersecurity risks for customers within the scope of assigned bids and projects

• Be a subject-matter expert on cybersecurity within system technical and operation domains and across the full life cycle

• Drive security governance and processes in line with Thales’ policies and guidelines

• Increase the security capability and maturity of the organisation

• Mentor and develop junior cyber security team members

• Be a cyber security champion

Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Architect, you are responsible on assigned bids and projects for:

• Understanding customer context, core information assets, and business impact from loss of key attributes

• Capturing explicit system security requirements and constraints from the customer, regulators, risk assessments and the Thales organisation

• Assessing and evaluating cyber risks, developing a detailed security management plan, and maintaining the cybersecurity risk register

• Developing system-level security requirements and a security architecture, and leading the development of detailed design artefacts

• Developing work breakdown structures, specifying deliverables, and creating detailed technical estimates that include assumptions, risks, and opportunities that support commercial and financial outcomes

• Liaising with external certification bodies, including attending or facilitating regular security working groups, and supporting external security assessments

• Leading the production of detailed documentation that supports cybersecurity accreditation and certification of systems

• Tasking and/or supervising security engineers and solution architects on security activities

• Providing advice to Thales and its customers on general security related issues as required

• Contributing to security assurance planning and reporting, and reviewing test cases and test results

• Supporting audits and investigations of cyber-related incidents and accidents

• Attending and participating in regular team, bid, and project meetings.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline majoring in Cybersecurity

• Postgraduate studies in Cybersecurity (Desirable)

Essential:

• 7+ years of proven experience in the Cybersecurity field

• Cyber Industry qualifications (e.g. CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, GIAC, SABSA or similar)

• Strong knowledge in Cybersecurity solutions (e.g. IAM, PAM, SIEM, EDR, Keys, Firewall)

• Strong knowledge in Cybersecurity engineering activities

• Strong Knowledge of Security standards such as ISO 27001 and security local regulations (e.g. CCOP and IM(ICT&SS) for Singapore).

• Strong knowledge in Vulnerability and risk management

• Experience with authoring/reviewing Security plans (e.g. System Security Plan, Security incident Response Plan, Security Management Plan)

• Experience with authoring/reviewing Technical Documentation

• Technical experience with the security-based aspects and secure implementation of Linux and Windows based systems, network devices and firewalls.

The project:

As part of our ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the Salesforce CRM systems.

The implementation of this CRM represents a strategic transformation from a traditional customer service model to an advanced cloud-based, AI-enabled omnichannel service model. This service transformation will be brought about through enhancements to the existing Salesforce CRM platform, with the objective of strengthening customer engagement capabilities while maintaining robust operational control and security measures.

The Salesforce CRM system continues to support multiple stakeholder groups, including approximately 175 concurrent users (covering Contact Centre staff, L2 officers, management, and system administrators). It also supports growing customer demand, with customer enquiries projected to reach 170,171 annual enquiries by 2028 across multiple channels.

The enhanced Salesforce CRM (NOVA CRM) will deliver comprehensive customer relationship management capabilities across the following key areas:

• AI-enabled case triage and response capabilities, including automated case categorisation, intelligent routing, GenAI-supported response generation, and email case summarisation
• Unified omnichannel integration, supporting channels such as WhatsApp chatbot, live chat, voice, and appointment booking, with seamless transitions between self-service and agent-assisted interactions;
• Enhanced case management features, including collaboration tools, intelligent workload distribution, and capabilities to support efficient case resolution by service teams
• Advanced analytics and reporting, providing actionable insights on customer interaction patterns, workload performance, and service outcomes.

What will you do?

• To lead solution architecture and technical design for Salesforce CRM, ensuring that enhancements, support changes, and integrations are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned to business needs and platform constraints.
• Define end-to-end solution designs for Salesforce CRM enhancements, integrations, and platform changes.
• Ensure solutions align with the architecture principles explicitly stated in the source document, including OOTB first and API-led design.
• Govern technical design across CRM processes, data model changes, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements.
• Review change requests for impact on business processes, security, maintainability, scalability, and dependencies.
• Work with engineers, Business Analysts, DevSecOps, and product/operations leads to shape feasible and supportable solutions.

1. Strategize, oversee and coordinate the overall quality assurance and quality control processes, including enforcement & inspections activities.

2. Liaise, coordinate and cooperate with Other Consultants to resolve on-site design and technical/coordination issues in a timely manner.

3. Carry out the proper and full-time site supervision work for the satisfactory construction and completion of all building works including but not limited to architectural and interior design (ID) works, all in compliance with the specified requirements in the contracts between the Employer with the Contractor (which includes any subcontractor whether nominated or privately engaged by the Contractor), and in accordance with the relevant building authorities’ rules, regulations and requirements.

4. Manage and organize the M&E site team to ensure orderliness and coordination of work processes on site. Attend to & provide timely and quality advice to the other Site Staff/ RTO in resolving problems.

5. Review and assign week to week work schedule for the entire site team including ID, Façade, C&S and M&E. Organize with assigned Site Staff/ RTOs to ensure all site diaries and inspection records are kept, consolidated & filed weekly.

6. Liaise with the Other Consultants to ensure that Requests for Information (RFIs) and technical queries from the Contractor are responded in a timely manner.

7. Review contract documents and drawings and highlight if there are any discrepancies between these documents. All discrepancies shall be brought to the attention of the Other Consultants concerned.

8. Seek clarification from the SO/SOR/SORA on any apparent discrepancies between site and contract drawings, specification requirement, approved shop drawing, CSD and room book, etc. before giving any directions to the Contractor.

9. Organize the information gathering and compilation, and render assistance to the Other Consultants in the review of the Contractor’s Claims.

10. Report regularly on the overall project status, assist with the preparation of the Certificate of Stage Completion, Progress Reports, design coordination, buildability and quality issues.

11. Review Contractor’s works methodology, remedial details and material submissions and ensure that all installation methods and material used are in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications.

12. Ensure checking & approval of shop drawings, catalogues and samples by the Design-Site Team are executed in a timely manner.

13. Liaise with the Contractor in resolving site installation problems. All problems on site shall be referred immediately to the Other Consultants.

14. Monitor the Contractor’s installation works against the construction programme. In the event of delays, the SRA shall assist the Contractor to mitigate delays but without compromise on quality.

15. Review all Operation and Maintenance Manuals, and coordinate with Employer in handing over of the works/MEP installations to Employer’s assigned maintenance staff.

16. Attend meetings & working sessions as required by the SO/SOR/SORA.

17. Ensure that all incoming and outgoing design, shop, construction and cocoordination drawings are properly recorded, collated and filed.

18. Check the accuracy of all RAOV/RFI to ensure they are recorded, costed and issued appropriately, including all necessary clarification with the QS on the extent of changes.

19. Be able to explain to the Employer when necessary the reasons for the RAOV/RFIs.

20. Check and review the Contractor’s site progress in line with the Other Consultant’s instructions. Conduct site meetings with site staff for updates and coordination of works at specified intervals.

21. Ensure that daily activities are recorded and or any other form of records as required to facilitate the works, are properly maintained on site by site staff.

22. Ensure issuance of defects list and monitor/supervision progress of rectification works are executed.

23. Conduct site check in conjunction with the Employer & Project Managers in assessing dispute claims & variation orders by the Contractor, when necessary.

24. Ensure that the Contractor records accurately on drawings, the installation works on site. This is to ensure that the as-built drawings reflect accurately the work that has been done on site.

25. Verify that all constructed works are in accordance with drawings approved by the relevant authorities prior to any such authorities’ inspection.

26. Ensure compliance with widths of all escape routes, stairs, handrails, doors.

27. Ensure compliance to the fire safety standards governed by the Code of Practice for Fire Precautions in Buildings issued by the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

28. Ensure compliance to the relevant Code on Accessibility in the Built Environment as governed by the Building and Construction Authority in Singapore.

29. Assist the Contractor to organise formal inspections required by the relevant Authorities.

30. Ensure that all comments/non-conformance issued by the relevant authorities are addressed and rectified on site within two weeks of receipt.

31. Ensure that all installation works are in accordance with approved methods, and material used is in accordance with contract drawings and specifications.

32. Witness tests carried out by Contractor and record the results, and assisting in testing and commissioning of all works / MEP systems.

33. Attend meetings & working sessions as required by the SO/SOR/SORA.

34. Ensure the accuracy of and endorse on as-built drawing.

What will you do?

The project:

As part of our ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the Salesforce CRM systems.

The implementation of this CRM represents a strategic transformation from a traditional customer service model to an advanced cloud-based, AI-enabled omnichannel service model. This service transformation will be brought about through enhancements to the existing Salesforce CRM platform, with the objective of strengthening customer engagement capabilities while maintaining robust operational control and security measures.

The Salesforce CRM system continues to support multiple stakeholder groups, including approximately 175 concurrent users (covering Contact Centre staff, L2 officers, management, and system administrators). It also supports growing customer demand, with customer enquiries projected to reach 170,171 annual enquiries by 2028 across multiple channels.

The enhanced Salesforce CRM (NOVA CRM) will deliver comprehensive customer relationship management capabilities across the following key areas:

• AI-enabled case triage and response capabilities, including automated case categorisation, intelligent routing, GenAI-supported response generation, and email case summarisation
• Unified omnichannel integration, supporting channels such as WhatsApp chatbot, live chat, voice, and appointment booking, with seamless transitions between self-service and agent-assisted interactions;
• Enhanced case management features, including collaboration tools, intelligent workload distribution, and capabilities to support efficient case resolution by service teams
• Advanced analytics and reporting, providing actionable insights on customer interaction patterns, workload performance, and service outcomes.

What will you do?

• To lead solution architecture and technical design for Salesforce CRM, ensuring that enhancements, support changes, and integrations are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned to business needs and platform constraints.
• Define end-to-end solution designs for Salesforce CRM enhancements, integrations, and platform changes.
• Ensure solutions align with the architecture principles explicitly stated in the source document, including OOTB first and API-led design.
• Govern technical design across CRM processes, data model changes, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements.
• Review change requests for impact on business processes, security, maintainability, scalability, and dependencies.
• Work with engineers, Business Analysts, DevSecOps, and product/operations leads to shape feasible and supportable solutions.
• Assess trade-offs between declarative design, customisation, integration, and cloud/infrastructure approaches.
• Support architecture documentation, design reviews, and technical governance.
• Promote long-term platform sustainability and reduce technical debt.

What are we looking for?

• Experience supporting enterprise Salesforce CRM platforms, particularly in enhancement, integration, operations, and support contexts.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in solution architecture for CRM, enterprise platforms, and integrations.

Responsibilities:

a) to assist the Superintending Officer/ Architect to monitor and coordinate Architectural works to be completed by Contractors for RI/TOP and CSC inspections

b) to act as channel for all claims and disputes and to record the facts which are relevant. To advise the Superintending Officer of any potential claim situations.

c) to measure the amount of work done for the purposes of payment and coordinate with QS for such payments.
