Payroll Processing & Administration

• Own and manage the payroll process, including liaising with our payroll vendor to ensure the monthly payroll computations and ad-hoc payroll computations for new joiners and terminations are accurate and in compliance with Singapore and overseas labour laws and statutory requirements.

• Ensure the accuracy of payroll data by verifying data against supporting documents.

• Liaise and manage payroll vendors in overseas offices (e.g. Taiwan) to review and process payroll for overseas employees in compliance with local tax and labour laws. Check overseas payroll reports (e.gs. China).

• Handle monthly statutory submissions, including CPF, government paid leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, childcare leave, and other relevant obligations.

• Annual income tax preparation and declarations for employees in compliance with local tax regulations. This includes foreign employees’ tax clearance.

• Provide detailed monthly payroll reports to finance.

• Manage and oversee employee loan repayment, which could involve authorized deductions from employee salaries.

HR Operations

• Support the HR team with employee life cycle management in pre-hire, on-boarding, off-boarding, and training records administration.

• Maintain accurate employee records on the HRIS Workday platform and e-pfile in a timely manner.

• Support the HR team in preparation for employment letters, visa travel letters, etc.

• Administer employee benefits programs (insurance claims and enrolment, long service award, etc.)

• Support the HR team in preparing reports, analysis and surveys preparation, e.gs. MOM, MPA, salary and benefits surveys.

• Support the HR team in administrative matters such as invoice processing, liaising with Finance on payment-related matters, work pass applications or renewal, renewal of season parking for eligible employees.

• Identify opportunities for HR operations transformation by leveraging technology for increased effectiveness and efficiency.

• Ensure data integrity and ensure compliance in all HR operations.

• Handle HR-related queries and perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or similar specialization.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing or managing payroll vendor.

• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance for Singapore and potential overseas locations.

• Experience with payroll vendor migration and integration of HRIS to payroll system will be an advantage.

• Prior experience with global HRIS systems, such as Workday or similar platforms, showcasing the ability to navigate and utilize these systems effectively.

Purpose & Scope

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Operations Executive / Senior Executive who supports the end-to-end execution of gas and LNG commercial trades, ensuring accurate operationalization, billing, reconciliation, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The role acts as a key bridge between commercial intent and operational execution across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

• Support end-to-end operational execution of commodity trades, from contract execution to operationalization.
• Perform settlement reconciliation, backcharge processing, and support billing-related activities.
• Coordinate LNG cargo and inventory operations, including documentation, permits, and invoice verification.
• Manage truck loading operations, including submissions, operational queries, and billing processes.
• Maintain accurate and timely updates in internal systems, records, and operational reports.
• Support audit, compliance, and documentation requirements, ensuring proper audit trails and adherence to controls.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Billing, Procurement, Compliance) to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and digitalization initiatives.
• Support duty roster requirements, including after-office hours, weekends, or standby duties to ensure continuous operational coverage.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Business or Engineering related discipline
• At least 1 year of commercial operations management experience and dealing with counterparty operations in Natural Gas related environment is advantageous

• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple operational processes accurately.
• Strong analytical mindset, especially in reconciliation, billing, and data validation.
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Proactive and hands-on, with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues and follow through to resolution.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment supporting time-sensitive operational activities.
• Comfortable working with systems and data, with good proficiency in Excel and digital tools.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset across functions such as Finance, Billing, and Procurement.
• Keen interest in energy, gas, or LNG commercial operations is an advantage.
