Operational Core Responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced Solar Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Technician/Senior Technician to support the reliable operation, maintenance, and performance of solar PV systems. 
• This role involves supervising contractors, ensuring work quality and safety, supporting testing and commissioning activities, and providing technical leadership through on-the-job training and troubleshooting. 
• He/she will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of O&M activities in accordance with approved standards and procedures.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Carry out and support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems, including modules, inverters, and balance-of-system components.
• Provide weekend and overtime (OT) support when required to address critical issues or project requirements.
• Supervise and manage contractors to ensure quality of workmanship, adherence to technical specifications, and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Conduct site audits to assess work quality, safety standards, and compliance with approved SOPs, WIs, and SWPs.
• Ensure contractors submit weekly and monthly reports accurately and on time.
• Act as a Train-the-Trainer resource by guiding and mentoring contractors in technical troubleshooting and best practices.
• Support the development, implementation, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).
• Liaise with external parties such as authorities, town councils, customers, and utility providers to obtain site access, permits, and work clearances.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and Lean projects, to improve workflow efficiency and operational reliability.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer (RO).

Qualification & Experiences:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in solar PV O&M, electrical maintenance, or related technical fields.
• Hands-on knowledge of solar PV systems, including modules, inverters, racking, protection systems, and monitoring platforms.
• Experience in contractor supervision, site audits, and safety compliance is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Positive, proactive, and safety-oriented work attitude.
• Valid Class 3/3A driving license with personal transportation is preferred.

Job Description

• Conduct online research on prospective donors using public sources to help identify and assess new individuals and corporates who could donate, and help compile, proof, and edit in-depth profiles/reports on potential and existing donors for colleagues in the team.

• Input up-to-date research findings and prospect data into client's donor database in line with department’s data processes and standards. 

• Help prepare larger data sets for data-analytics within the department.

• Other database and research admin connected to prospects and donors. 

Requirements

• Minimum A-Levels/Diploma qualification 

• Possess experience working on databases and reviewing, analysing, and collating quantitative data or qualitative information from public sources. 

• Possess some research experience and skills (e.g. academic/study research, market research, fundraising research), to be able to review and analyse publicly available data (e.g. financials, philanthropic interests, and biographical information) and compile findings in a clear and concise manner.

• Good written communication skills and ability to produce quality profiles/reports to deadline.  

• Knowledge of MS Office applications including MS Excel and Word. 

• Ability to work independently or in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Demonstrate resourcefulness and flexibility.   

Contract duration: 6 months (renewable, subject to performance)

• Mon – Thurs: 8.30 am – 5.45 pm
• Fri: 8.30 am – 5.15 pm
• Work-From-Home arrangement: One day per week week

Our client is from Oil and Gas industry. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the next phase of their business. They are located in West.

Duties:

• Responsible in guiding the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, commissioning and substitute of mechanical or piping equipment within the Gas Engine Generators as well as its additional systems such as gas engine, pipeline, pressure pipe, ACMVs, lube oil and coolant pumps arrangement.
• Responsible in supporting mechanical support and solutions for the process & care and providing the development of care strategy including procedure/specification focusing on equipment dependability, spares inventory necessity, shutdown and inspection lists, preventive and prophetic care programmed.
• Responsible in managing and work meticulously with internal contractor and equipment seller to perform maintenance work at the Gas Engine Generators Building and terminal.
• Responsible to make certain compliance to appropriate regulations, manipulate safely, fit for object, maintainable and trustworthy for the site’s modified or anew build mechanical setup (such as gas engine, pumps, gravity vessel, safety facilities, etc).
• Responsible in guiding technical negotiations, execute and succeed project schedules or cost as well as collaboration with outward and internal shareholders, merchants for end of life and development project using company Management of Change process for machinery facilities.
• Responsible in supplying technical practicing as required in the area of process, maintenance, fault resolution of the Gas Engine Generators.
• Responsible in contacting with exterior investor including administration agencies on approbation and risk of closure of electrical arrangement that will influence gas-send out.

Requirements

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field.
• Min 5 to 8 years’ experience in relevant industry for maintenance of rotary and static equipment is needed
• Well versed in API standards and Engineering Calculation
