THE ROLE:

AMD’s Heterogenous Technology Integration (HIT) team is seeking an experienced leader to establish its Singapore Advanced Packaging Lab, a multi-disciplinary lab focused on accelerating the development of advanced packaging technologies for AMD’s AI product portfolio.

THE PERSON: 

The team will enable and maintain metrologies across optical, electrical, mechanical, thermal, and imaging domains, while also identifying and partnering with external labs, equipment vendors, universities, and industry collaborators to develop new measurement capabilities. Beyond core metrology work, the team will support simulation, physical design, and other lab-related activities, and may interface with Asia-based manufacturing partners.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience managing and scaling technical teams, along with a strong network within the Singapore tech ecosystem to support team growth and partnership development. Our client is an US MNC, one of the largest players in the life-science sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting for Lab Technician to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects.

This is a 1 Year contract (Convertible) role. They are located at Buona Vista – Walking distance from the MRT station.

5 days work week - Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 5.30pm)

Training will be provided for Entry Level (structured training programs)

Duties

• Prepare samples and reagents
• Operate sample handling equipments
• Ensure data accuracy and detail records
• Adhere to safety procedures
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma in Applied Chemistry/Perfumery and Cosmetic Sciences/Chemical Engineering
• 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a chemistry laboratory environment
