• HRIS Key user for system management of Leave & Payroll Portal (Prosoft) and SAP for Personnel Data Management.

• Coordinate claims / payments with BSC for processing such as CPF submission, NS claim submission, Statutory leave claim submission (maternity, child care leaves etc), resignee final settlement, OT payment and AWS.

• Management of claims with insurer / broker such as medical, insurance and WICA claims

• Engage with Union on CA renewal (every 3 years)

• Responsible for performance appraisal process, and data cleansing with BSC before rollout.

• Data management with BSC for any position changes, promotion (including Color Belting for Technicians), transfers etc.

• Management of incentive schemes for payment with BSC e.g. Technical Retention Program, Port Incentive, Sales Incentive Scheme

• Perform annual salary benchmarking with Mercer

• Responsible for salary proposal of new joiners

• Responsible for salary budget exercise for C&B topics

• Handle tax clearance/settlement for local and expat employees with tax consultant

• Lead internal and external audits on C&B-statutory survey and MOM Labor market survey.

Tooling & Engineering Management

• Lead Tool & Die Toolroom operations from design through fabrication, tooling approval, and production handover.
• Manage tooling development projects and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years experience in a die casting, plastic injection molding, metal stamping or related manufacturing industries.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing customer and supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, EDM, wire cut, grinding, drilling, and turning.
• Familiar with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD software such as Creo, UG NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
• Familiar with quality and automotive standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and PFMEA.

The Head, IT Applications & Engineering is accountable for the end-to-end delivery, performance, stability, and evolution of the organisation’s application landscape across core insurance systems, CRM and customer-servicing platforms, customer-facing digital channels, and integration and API layers.

Qualifications

-               Relevant professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP),Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or other relevant credentials are advantageous.

Experience

-               15 - 20years of experience in software engineering, application delivery, with strong progression into leadership roles

-               Strong background in modern architecture (e.g. microservices / API design, cloud-native development, integration patterns such as REST, messaging, event-driven)

-               Demonstrated experience leading and scaling engineering teams. Prior experience with leading offshore teams is advantageous.

-               Strong technical foundation with previous hands-on experience as a technology architect, able to make strategic decisions grounded in deep architectural understanding.

-               Exposure to AI/ML or AI-enabled development practices is highly preferred

-               Experience working with enterprise platforms (CRM systems such as Salesforce, Dynamics)
