• Maintain high quality delivery through disciplined tracking of progress and upkeep of RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) artifacts.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, System Analysts, and Design teams to refine backlogs, support UI/UX requirements, and validate technical feasibility.
• Support test strategy, test planning, and operational readiness to ensure seamless go live and adoption.
• Drive post implementation benefits realization and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in banking, specifically across retail lending products and credit cards
• Strong background in credit origination, collections, credit risk portfolio management and credit bureau reporting
• 5+ years of deep expertise in retail credit, including Credit risk management (underwriting, credit decisioning, early warning, collections)
• Credit portfolio monitoring (scorecard development, risk segmentation, limit setting)

We are seeking a senior Head of Credit Audit to lead independent assurance over credit risk governance, underwriting, portfolio management, and problem credit processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the credit audit strategy across all portfolios
• Provide assurance on credit risk frameworks, policies, and regulatory compliance
• Deliver high-quality audit opinions and reporting to senior management and the Audit Committee
• Partner with Credit, Risk, and Business leaders while maintaining independence
• Lead and develop a team of senior credit auditors

Requirements

• 12–18+ years in credit audit, credit risk, or risk management within a bank or regulated institution
• Strong knowledge of credit products, risk rating systems, provisioning (IFRS 9/CECL), and regulatory expectations
• Proven leadership experience and ability to engage at C-suite and Board level
• Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CFA, FRM) preferred

Principal Accountabilities:

1)      Support Performance Monitoring

• Maintain ongoing collaboration with fund managers to collect, measure, and analyse investment data.
• Prepare reports that provide clear insights into investment results across private equity, private credit, real estate, and infrastructure funds.

2)      Lead Enhanced Monitoring Process

This includes:

• Valuation Reasonableness Checks: Apply hands-on knowledge and experience in valuing Private Credit deals.

• Using industry standard methods to value private credit investment
• Checking valuation reasonableness of Private Credit investments
• Documenting rationale and maintaining valuation consistency.

• Internal Credit Rating Assessments: Conduct internal credit assessments for private credit exposures, including:

• Analysing borrower financials and business models and assessing industry and macroeconomic risks
• Assigning internal ratings using established frameworks (e.g., Moody’s, S&P, or proprietary models)
• Documenting rationale and maintaining rating consistency

• Stress Testing: Perform stress tests to evaluate emerging risks within the portfolio and assess potential impacts on investment performance.

3)       Support the Automation of Private Markets Reporting and Analysis

Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of GRM Credit Risk Asia Pacific ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. 

Ensures all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

• Contributes to the GRM Asia Pacific Credit Risk team in managing a portfolio of corporate credits within the Bank’s Risk Management Framework and in support of GBM’s APAC business objectives.
• Ensures effective challenge in the credit risk underwriting/adjudication process through analysis and identification of relevant credit/market risks with appropriate discussions/recommendations including providing local industry and market insight to GRM Toronto.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Contributes to the implementation of Head Office credit risk policies and frameworks including the implementation of local policies/addendums as necessary.
• Providing timely, relevant and accurate reporting/analysis of credit metrics, trends, key drivers and local insight on relevant markets and geographies related to the credit portfolio.
• Contributes to the monitoring/recommendations of Watchlist/problem loan management to mitigate the Bank’s exposure and risk of losses.
• Contributes to the ongoing development and implementation of the Credit Risk Stress Testing Program across APAC.
• ESG Risk champion for APAC, contributing to the management of Environmental and Climate Change risks for the APAC business, including the implementation of the annual Climate Change Scenario Analysis and ongoing collaboration with Head Office ESG Risk on all-bank matters.
