• Ø  Managing and motivating site foremen and teams.
• Ø  Ensuring all equipment needed is available on site.
• Ø  Ensuring budget costs relating to wages, contractors,materials, and equipment aren’t exceeded.
• Ø  Approving purchase requests.
• Ø  Ensuring the construction process starts and ends on time,and ensuring daily and weekly deadlines are met.
• Ø  Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and all otherregulations.
• Ø  Issuing SI's and VOs to project management.
• Ø  Manage resources required on site.
• Ø  liaising with the client, other construction professionalsand, sometimes, members of the public
• Ø  coordinating and supervising construction workers
• Ø  selecting tools and materials
• Ø  making safety inspections and ensuring construction and sitesafety
• Ø  checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
• Ø  maintaining quality control procedures
• Ø  Manage workplace safety in accordance to safety and healthregulations.
• Ø  Monitor quality of construction to ensure compliance withbuilding control regulations.
• Ø  Monitor the progress of construction to ensure it adheres tothe project timeline.
• Ø  Negotiate with relevant parties to ensure projects arecompleted on time and within budget.
• Ø  Plan work schedules to ensure project plans are carried outas planned.
• Ø  Prepare reports to track the progress and cost of theproject.
• Ø Conductingongoing quality inspections.
