Responsibilities:

PROJECT OPERATIONS SUPPORT

• Manage Project Management team to perform the work in a timely manner with strict adherence to quality and safety
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure schedules are met
• Attend site meetings as per agreed frequency
• Ensure that both subcontractors and own project team present a professional approach consistently throughout the duration of the project

MEETINGS

• Conduct Client kick-off meetings for assigned projects
• Conduct internal meetings for assigned projects
• Prepare and attend pre-construction meetings with Business Development and Operations team for assigned projects
• Conduct Client project update meetings for assigned projects as per agreed frequency

PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and verify subcontractor proposals for assigned projects during the award stage and ensure that such proposals are not open ended
• Ensure compliance to cost report submission
• Negotiate subcontractor deductions for project non-compliance and breaches
• Strict Compliance to key legal obligations
• Ensure that Client contract obligations to subcontractors are clearly flow through and followed strictly
• Ensure Project schedule management
• Ensure Project cost and budget management
• Defect rectification progress, particularly during the handover stage

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer the filing and archiving of project documentation
• Submit project progress report for Management Review

Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to meet the following:

• Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Strong customer focus on both internal and external customers
• Ability to meet demanding schedule requirements without compromising quality
• Must be a team player
• Able to speak in Tamil with construction team will be an advantage
