Responsibilities
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate lift/escalator installation, testing, commissioning, repair, and maintenance works.
• Attend site meetings with main contractors, consultants, suppliers, and clients.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to project schedule.
• Check lift/escalator drawings, technical specifications, and method statements before execution.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality, safety, and compliance with authority requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide engineering solutions on site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, technicians, and suppliers for material delivery and manpower arrangement.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, work schedules, inspection records, and technical documents.
• Support testing and commissioning activities, including adjustment and final handover.
• Ensure all works comply with company standards, project requirements, and local regulations.
• Assist in costing, variation works, and technical proposals when required.
• Provide technical support to project team and attend urgent site issues when necessary.
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• Experience in lift/elevator installation, modernization, maintenance, or testing works.
• Good knowledge of lift /elevator systems, safety procedures, and site coordination.
• Able to read technical drawings and handle site documentation.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
