We are partnering with an established professional services firm in Singapore to set up a new audit practice as part of its next phase of growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and lead an audit function from the ground up, with strong support from an existing client base and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and development of the audit practice in Singapore, including processes, methodology, and compliance framework
• Act as the signing Public Accountant, responsible for audit opinions and regulatory compliance
• Ensure full compliance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA), ISQM 1, and independence requirements
• Oversee end-to-end audit engagements across a portfolio of clients (primarily SMEs and growing enterprises)
• Establish and maintain robust audit quality control systems in line with ACRA requirements
• Prepare the firm for and manage ACRA Practice Monitoring Programme (PMP) inspections
• Advise clients on financial reporting and compliance matters under SFRS
• Build, mentor, and lead an audit team (associates to managers)
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify cross-functional opportunities (e.g. accounting, tax, advisory), while maintaining independence

Requirements

• Registered Public Accountant with ACRA (Singapore) – mandatory
• Member of ISCA (CA Singapore) or equivalent recognised qualification
• Minimum 8–12 years of audit experience, with proven experience signing audit reports
• Strong working knowledge of: Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA), Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and ISQM / audit quality control standards
• Prior experience in SME / mid-market audit environments preferred
• Experience handling or preparing for ACRA PMP inspections is highly advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to build or lead audit teams
• Strong understanding of professional ethics, independence, and risk management

They are now seeking a Legal & Compliance Manager to join the team.

KeyResponsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support to commercial and functional teams, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of agreements (e.g. distribution, licensing, supply, manufacturing, service and partnership contracts). Conduct risk assessments, ensure alignment with internal policies, and escalate complex matters where required.
• Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the organisation’s compliance framework across multiple jurisdictions, including policies on business conduct, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, and healthcare compliance.
• Manage third-party compliance processes such as distributor and vendor due diligence, onboarding and monitoring. Advise on compliance risks related to commercial activities, including sales practices, promotional activities and engagements with healthcare professionals and institutions. Ensure compliant structuring of sponsorships, educational events and advisory activities.
• Assist in delivering compliance training programmes and awareness initiatives for employees and external stakeholders. Support monitoring activities, internal reviews and investigations into potential compliance issues.
• Provide support on data privacy matters, including contract reviews and operational queries relating to personal data.Assist with intellectual property matters such as trademark filings, renewals and coordination with external advisors.
• Support handling of disputes, regulatory matters and claims across jurisdictions, liaising with external counsel where necessary. Assist with corporate governance and secretarial matters for regional entities.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders and headquarters to support group-wide legal and compliance initiatives, reporting and cross-border projects.

Qualifications& Requirements

• Law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) from a recognised institution; admission to practice in a common law jurisdiction preferred.
• Minimum 6 years PQE, ideally with in-house exposure within the pharmaceutical, healthcare or life sciences sector. Combination of private practice and in-house experience is advantageous.Regional or cross-border experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in healthcare compliance, including anti-bribery and anti-corruption, third-party risk management and HCP-related compliance. Familiarity with global frameworks and regional regulations is required.
• Strong commercial contracting experience, with the ability to draft, review and negotiate agreements and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a regional, matrix environment. Fluency in English is required.
• Willingness to travel regionally on a limited basis.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Our client, a global healthcare solutions provider supporting pharmaceutical products and market access across multiple regions, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support it's growing operations in Southeast Asia.

This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end finance operations with strong exposure to international trade, import/export activities, multi-currency transactions, and group consolidation, working closely with regional and headquarters stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Handle financial accounting for the company’s international trading operations, including month-end closing and reconciliations.
• Prepare group consolidation and consolidated financial reports, coordinating with regional entities and headquarters.
• Support cross-border transactions, inter-company settlements, and multi-currency reconciliations.
• Handle finance matters related to import/export activities, including landed cost allocation, customs duties, and trade documentation reconciliation.
• Monitor foreign exchange transactions and support FX exposure reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
• Support the setup of new finance processes, accounting functions, and regional entities as the business expands.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CA or CPA qualification preferred.
• At Least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a regional or cross-border environment.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical company or pharmaceutical distributor strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience in group consolidation and inter-company accounting.
• Exposure to import/export or trade finance operations is advantageous.
• Experience in setting up new finance function and assist in setting up new regional entities.
