Job Title: Human Resources and Administration AM/Manager

Simpson Spence Young is the largest private shipbroker in the world, with over 600staff across 26 offices.
We’re looking for a Human Resources and Administration Manager in our Singapore office to support the continued growth in our operations.
Role Summary
To be responsible for the human resources and administration activities related to Simpson Spence Young LLP’s staff in the Singapore office, which currently comprises over 120 people.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle full spectrum of Human Resource and administrative functions
• Manage the recruitment and selection process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, conducting interviews, extending job offers, onboarding new employees and work pass applications
• Process monthly payroll, CPF submission, yearly IR8A submission, and government claims (childcare, maternity claim etc)
• Prepare employment documents such as letter of employment, increment letters, resignation acceptance letters and disciplinary action letters, etc.
• Manage international employee transfers from/to other SSY offices
•Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Handle employee benefits administration, including healthcare, insurance, and other benefits programs
• Handle queries from and prepare surveys from statutory boards (MOM, CPF, IRAS etc.).
• Manage all aspects of the rental & infrastructure planning (lease, moves and changes to workstations) of the office
• Handle company events and administration.
• Oversee general administrative tasks and manage the day-to-day administrative duties
• Perform any other HR and Admin duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 6 years of HR and administrative management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with a flexible approach
