Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Support Business Unit, based in Singapore. This role is a strategic support position for the South East & South Asia (SESA) cluster, bridging regional execution with global marketing alignment.
The ideal candidate will possess deep marketing expertise strictly within the IT Distribution sector. You will be responsible for driving channel marketing strategies, collaborating with global vendors (brands), and supporting regional sales teams to accelerate business growth. This role reports directly to the global marketing leadership team (Puneet or an assigned global Marketing leader), ensuring localized SESA strategies map seamlessly to global objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vendor & Brand Marketing Management
Collaborate directly with top-tier technology vendors and internal product managers to design and execute co-marketing plans (MDF - Marketing Development Funds management).
Ensure all marketing activities comply with vendor branding guidelines and audit requirements for successful fund reclamation.
Act as the primary marketing liaison between global vendor teams and regional SESA business heads.
2. Channel & Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy
Develop and execute B2B marketing campaigns aimed at enabling and engaging our partner ecosystem (System Integrators, Value-Added Resellers, and Corporate Resellers).
Drive lead generation and demand generation initiatives to support pipeline growth for various IT business units (e.g., Cloud, Infrastructure, Software).
Organize and manage end-to-end industry events, partner roundtables, webinars, and product launch activations in Singapore and across the SESA cluster.
3. Global & Regional Alignment
Serve as the Singapore-based execution anchor for the global marketing business unit, maintaining a solid reporting line back to global leadership.
Track, analyze, and report on campaign ROI, pipeline impact, and marketing KPIs directly to global and SESA leadership.
Localize global marketing assets and campaigns to fit the cultural and business nuances of the SESA market.
Role Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 5 to 8 years of dedicated marketing experience strictly within the IT Distribution industry. (Candidates coming purely from marketing agencies will not be considered for this specific role).
Industry Knowledge: Proven understanding of the IT channel ecosystem, multi-tier distribution models, and vendor-partner relationships. Experience handling cloud or enterprise IT portfolios is highly advantageous.
Financial Acumen: Direct experience managing marketing budgets and a strong grasp of MDF (Marketing Development Funds) processes and compliance guidelines.
Location: Must be based in Singapore and possess the appropriate working rights.
Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional global teams and local business units. Exceptional communication and project management capabilities.
