Design and plan construction projects, including preparing cost estimates, technical specifications, and project schedules

●     Oversee and manage all phases of the construction process, from initial site preparation through final inspection and closeout

●     Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety guidelines, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety

●     Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion

●     Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and project requirements

●     Review and approve construction plans and drawings, and provide technical guidance to project teams

●     Analyze data and report findings to management and other stakeholders, and provide recommendations for improvement

●     Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities and expenditures

●     Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with new and emerging technologies and techniques in the civil engineering fiel

Job Description & Requirements

• Maintain a full set of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger.
• Handle tax matters, including quarterly GST filings and corporate income tax.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Work with the finance team and other departments to keep financial data accurate and current.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement more efficient financial practices.
• Generate standard accounting reports and ad-hoc requests.
• Liaise with internal teams, vendors, customers, and banks for timely issue resolution.
• Use accounting software and spreadsheets; help with simple process improvements.

• Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent; LCCI/ACCA foundation is a plus.
  • 1–2 years in accounting related roles.
  • Experience in Xero system is advantageous
  • Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and time management; proficient in Excel and accounting systems.
