Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines with the Project Manager/Engineer to guide project execution
Monitor and track project milestones and deadlines to ensure timely completion of deliverables
Coordinate communication and activities with agencies, authorities, site teams, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project progress
Manage permit submissions by liaising with agencies or authorities, tracking application status, and ensuring permit validity
Conduct site surveys and attend site and progress meetings to assess project status and proactively address issues
Perform regular site visits to verify safety compliance, quality of work, project progress, and adherence to statutory board requirements
Prepare, organize, and maintain comprehensive project documentation to support transparency and accountability
Implement systematic filing and tracking of all project-related documents for easy retrieval and audit readiness
Oversee daily project activities on-site and remotely to ensure operational efficiency and resolve problems
Communicate project details clearly and accurately to clients and site teams to align expectations and progress updates
Ensure proper handover of project deliverables with complete documentation to support project closure and client satisfaction
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering
Minimum 2 years of relevant local experience in road works or electrical cabling projects
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience with underground utilities or similar site works or possession of related safety certificates
Strong project coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills demonstrated by effective collaboration with site teams, clients, consultants, and stakeholders
Self-motivated and proactive work approach with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and commitment to quality
Possession of a Class 2B or Class 3 driving license advantageous
