Nanosun Pte Ltd (UEN 201312279C), a Singapore‑based nano technology company specialising in using nanotechnology for Industrial Wastewater Treatment and Reclamation. Stemming from a material science foundation, Nanosun develops and sells advanced 3D printed membrane, nano additives, and water/wastewater treatment solutions, and leveraging nano-technology to deploy nano-bubbles separation and confined catalytic oxidation, and emerging containments removal such as PFAS and artificial intelligence (AI) for utilities management over the past 13 years since establishment.
Role:
Company is seeking a Finance Director / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial strategy and operations. The role is based in Singapore, with responsibility for a portfolio of projects and clients across regional markets in Asia . The company is executing over USD 100 million of order book and is preparing for future capital market actions aligned with its growth and expansion plans.
The Finance Director / CFO will be accountable for all aspects of corporate finance, financial control, and project‑level financial management. The incumbent will ensure disciplined financial execution of a growing order book, drive project profitability, and work jointly with the Managing Director on procurement governance and cost management.
Key Responsibilities
●Raise capital
●Lead group‑wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, with an emphasis on project‑based reporting and profitability analysis.
●Structure and oversee water, infrastructure project financing and commercial arrangements (including O&M, BOT/BOO, JV, and leasing structures) to support the execution of over USD 100 million in order book.
●Establish and maintain robust project cost control frameworks, working jointly with the Managing Director on procurement processes, vendor selection, contract terms, and cost management to protect and enhance project margins.
●Monitor project cash flow, working capital, and risk exposures; ensure timely billing, collection, and claim management with the Finance Manager.
●Prepare the company for capital market actions (for example, growth equity financing, strategic investor entry, or potential listing) including financial clean‑up, documentation, data room preparation, and investor‑ready reporting standards.
●Recruit, develop, and lead a lean but high‑performing finance team, and implement scalable systems (ERP/accounting, project reporting) to support rapid growth with Finance Manager
Profile Requirements
●To lead the company forward
●Prior exposure to capital markets transactions (private placements, pre‑IPO preparation, or IPO‑level readiness) with strong networking capability to execute placements will be a significant advantage.
●Demonstrated experience in project finance, bank negotiations, and managing financing structures for multi‑country projects. Substantial hands‑on experience with procurement cost control, contract review, and margin protection on complex, capital‑intensive projects.
●8-12 years of progressive finance experience, including a leadership role in project‑oriented businesses such as engineering, infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, or clean technology.
●Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline; professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong institutional reputation is preferred.
●Language skills to operate smoothly in major Asian markets in Asean, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China
